VANITY FAIR.
VANITY.
FAIR. https://t.co/jmfaJYCBpt

A new piece in Vanity Fair — yes, Vanity Fair! — urges Democrats to stop trying to make Chelsea Clinton into a thing. The author, T.A. Frank, warns that propping up Chelsea could wind up being a massive nail in the Democratic Party’s coffin.
Among the evidence Frank cites to prove that Chelsea is far less than so many on the Left are making her out to be is a passage from the introduction of her 2015 book, “It’s Your World (Get Informed! Get Inspired! Get Going!).”
Apparently, this writer https://t.co/fUzqxL0mxY is the only one who read Chelsea's book. https://t.co/bhyDo1R02c

Good thing, too. Otherwise we might never have known about this:
Hold up. Chelsea Clinton wrote this in one of her books. pic.twitter.com/xAmZ4WfjCF

Frank writes:
Ah, yes, that reminds me of when I was four and I wrote to Senator John Warner about grain tariffs, arguing that trade barriers unfairly decreased consumer choice.
At first glance, of course, Chelsea seems to be boasting that at age five she was interpreting the news with the maturity of an adult. But we should consider whether it’s instead a confession that as an adult she still interprets the news with the maturity of—well, let’s just submit that perhaps she thinks what other people tell her to think.
Frank’s consideration is a lot more generous than Chelsea deserves. One of Chelsea’s most irritating qualities — and there are lots to choose from — is her penchant for painting herself as brilliant and socially conscious, even in very early childhood.
Wow…. she was born "woke"

well, she did write her first dissertation at 6, you know, so it's probably possible.

Anyone who actually believes a word that comes out of Chelsea’s mouth (or her pen) should probably have their head examined. Like, ASAP.
The lie doesn't shock me (and it is a lie). What shocks me is she thought anyone would believe this. https://t.co/QedIO42VGh

There’s a sucker born every minute. And Chelsea’s counting on that — just like her parents did.
THEORY: If a child of a Republican wrote this in one of their books, they'd be laughed out of polite society for eternity. https://t.co/bhyDo1R02c

If Chelsea Clinton runs for office all her opponent has to do is ask her about this line in one of her books.

One can only hope. We’re not sure how much more Chelsea we can take.
