Yesterday, Seth MacFarlane took “conservative news entitities” to task for failing to adequately defend CNN’s Jim Acosta after the White House revoked Acosta’s press pass:

It’s nice that MacFarlane actually acknowledges that Barack Obama could be plenty hostile toward the press, but putting the Trump administration’s bruising of Jim Acosta’s ego on the same level as Obama’s exclusion of Fox News is pretty disingenuous.

And by the way:

Indeed he has.

Also worth noting: As far as we know, Donald Trump has yet to sic the government on individual journalists who get in the way of his narrative. The same can’t be said of his predecessor.
