As Twitchy reported, violent union goons spent the better part of yesterday protesting Michigan’s newly passed right-to-work legislation by destroying property and throwing punches. Clint Tarver, Lansing’s “Hot Dog Guy,” found himself in the middle of it all, and when the smoke cleared, his hot dog stand was nothing more than a pile of debris.

Hey Michigan Unions? Did you meet Clint Tarver? Did you see his hot dog business you destroyed? Funny…He Built That. http://t.co/tw43K4vj

Not only was Tarver’s stand destroyed, but he was the target of vile racist epithets.

Where is the Left to decry the vicious racism?
Here's a great opportunity for the left to play the race card. Oh, wait, they keep silent on union violence: http://t.co/JV6hqB3L

Oddly enough, no word from them yet.

Ha. They’d have to report on the union thuggery at all, first.
First Gladney, then Tarver, union groups have a thing for black vendors, it seems.

Indeed. This story most definitely echoes the Kenneth Gladney beating. In 2009, Gladney was verbally and physically assaulted by SEIU thugs outside of a health care town hall meeting in St. Louis. His crime? Distributing “Don’t tread on me” flags. In Tarver’s case, he wasn’t even attempting to make any sort of political statement; he was merely doing business (he had reportedly been hired by Americans For Prosperity to provide catering for their tent, which was also destroyed). And, as we saw with the Gladney case, Tarver’s beating has been thoroughly ignored by the mainstream media, if not outright denied.
So @Hardball_Chris will have Clint Tarver on his show 2night to discuss how racist MI union members destroyed his hotdog cart, right? Right?

Don’t bet on it.
Loesch spoke with Tarver this afternoon on her radio show. His account of yesterday’s events is heartbreaking — and utterly infuriating:

His mere existence set those thugs off. Is it any wonder unions have developed a reputation for vicious bullying?

Unions may not truly understand what it means to help our fellow man, but it’s heartening to know that there are people who do. Wonderful.
