Democrats have never changed their stripes. Oh sure, they pretend their racism and bigotry is for the greater good but ultimately they've never really given up on the idea of owning other people. Especially when it comes to their votes. To this very day, Democrats feel that they own certain voting blocs including people of color, women, the LGBT community, and as of late, illegal immigrants.
There's a reason want illegals counted in the census ... they know damn well growing their blue areas will lead to more electoral votes and more representation in the House. What better way to stack the odds against the rest of America than by 'importing' residents who will grow your power?
Plus, some of these areas are already allowing illegals to vote in local and even state races but that's another article.
This post from Aaron Reichen-Melnick comparing illegals to slaves is really and truly well, awful.
And racit.

At the Founding, only a minority of people could vote, yet the Constitution said to count everyone. Even enslaved people were counted—they were just treated as 3/5 of a person.

Today, the House passed a bill to count 11+ million people as 0/5 of a person.https://t.co/EGNkjmUMWV pic.twitter.com/1rvpRxo32T
Slaves were brought to this country against their will.
Illegals are coming here and breaking our laws against our will.
These two things are not remotely the same.
This deeply silly person is comparing non- citizens--people who willingly came here but have not gone through the citizenship process--to slaves. It's a total insult to what slaves endured. https://t.co/Rl43zmx1fU

Bingo.
Then he went the 'illegals pay taxes' route to back up his original post:
Not only do undocumented immigrants pay taxes to the tune of over $10 billion a year, but the bill actually excludes from enumeration ALL noncitizens in the country, including tens of millions of fully lawful residents who pay taxes too. https://t.co/1bRcdeIBDF pic.twitter.com/RHBsukLNqe

Neither of his posts went over very well.
What does it mean to be a citizen of the US if the entire world is eligible to be counted in our census as long as they happen to be standing within our boundaries? We get all of the coats and fewer rights every year. In fact an illegal gets more rights than we do considering…

This is a slap in the face to every illegal immigrant that worked hard to sneak into the country. It's outrageous! If I was an illegal immigrant, I would be so pissed that I would return to my home country. I encourage all illegal immigrants and non-citizens to boycott coming to…

HA HA HA HA!
How dare he?!
Thank you for pointing out that illegal aliens are not citizens.

Your attempt to equate former slaves, who were brought here against their will, to willing law breakers that cross the border daily is uber weak.
So 0/5 representation for illegal aliens is the correct amount.
Enjoy the ratio, Sparky!
