Heh. Most quotable sign indeed!

Jammie Wearing Fool has the snicker-worthy video.

Not so beloved citizen of the world-y now, huh?

Twitter users posted pics of the protest signs that greeted President Obama prior to his arrival in Germany and which continue today.

Some Americans on Twitter found it to be schadenfreudelicious.

What say you, readers? Let us know if you’ve seen a better sign.

I think its awesome. They got more people making a stand then the people over here. I think we need to be awesome too and take our country back!. Impeach obama (not even worth a push on the shift key.)

Germans understand – on a historical and emotional level – better than Americans the dangers associated with living in a surveillance state. As for “Yes We Scan” – best slogan of the year so far. I’m disappointed an American was not the first to come up with it – we’re losing our creativity. Hell, I disappointed in myself for not thinking of it…

    • Richard

Yep, my boss is from Germany, and she knows what is up. so do my friends from the Czeck Republic.

What a shame people from Turkey, Greece and Germany seem to understand what is going on better than most Americans. Keep texting on your iphone and posting pictures of kittens. It’s all good, America,.

Why did my comments get deleted?

I love this… the Germans totally get it… could it be that we follow down that path? And they get it!!!

  • © Sponge

But, it’s not a serious protest until the paper mache duck shows up. They should know that over there in Germany.

  • tinker_thinker

No, I haven’t seen one yet better than that one!! haha

  • Clayton Grant

The Germans, especially those who lived in the former East Germany, know all too well about the surveillance state and would be the first to say what NSA snooping could lead to, which is “turnkey tyranny”. Like the NSA, the Stasi was responsible for both domestic surveillance and foreign espionage and it was overseen by the ruling Socialist Unity Party. The Stasi had a motto: “Schild und Schwert der Partei” (Shield and Sword of the Party). Does anyone doubt the same could happen here?

  • OLLPOH ~ America

Obama could give a rats a55 about these protests signs.
It is about him and his collective salvation, how they were wronged, and Americans and whites are priviledged. His father was tracked by the FBI while he was here as a foreign student in the 60s, and he had an eye for white women and that was absolutely not accepted during that period in time and was a communist. Michele’s dissertation was on Black Separatism. She had a monument installed in a town in Rex, GA, (which was an old grist mill town) erected, for her Great, Great, Great Grandmother whom she reports lived there but was not born there and was a slave; just a week or so ago, somebody(ies) knocked it over. They are a team for equalizing and reparating, and continuing the divide. They carry the creation of the Classes/Groups…Class/Groups are NOT individuals. MalcolmX despised Christianity and white people. So remember since he and his family are surveiled you are no different, because the US government did it to his Dad, and they are entitled now to everything that you “thought” was yours…

    He feels their pain too….!

  • Tanker74

I guess the Obamians will start calling the German people, “Nazis!”

    • brewerandpatriot

Sure he won’t call them Germany persons?

Gee, weren’t we given to understand that the brat was loved and worshiped throughout Europe? If this is reception in Berlin is any indication, it would seem the shine is wearing off his halo and people are waking up to the ineptitude, divisiveness, and dishonesty of the narcissistic, Marxist brat.

Obama’s Soft Totalitarianism: Europe Must Protect Itself from America
    http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/europe-must-stand-up-to-american-cyber-snooping-a-906250.html
Is Barack Obama a friend? Revelations about his government’s vast spying program call that assumption into doubt. The European Union must protect the Continent from America’s reach for omnipotence.

It is embarrassing: Barack Obama will be arriving in Berlin for only the second time, but his visit is coming just as we are learning that the US president is a snoop on a colossal scale. German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said that she will speak to the president about the surveillance program run by the National Security Agency, and the Berlin Interior Ministry has sent a set of 16 questions to the US Embassy. But Obama need not be afraid. German Interior Minister Hans Peter Friedrich, to be sure, did say: “That’s not how you treat friends.” But he wasn’t referring to the fact that our trans-Atlantic friends were spying on us. Rather, he meant the criticism of that spying.

    • in_awe

The EU restrictions on collecting and sharing personal info for even benign marketing purposes are insanely tough. Heads must be exploding over the NSA “Big Gulp” approach to collecting all foreign electronic communications.
