But not by the pro-abortion crowd. Philly-area columnist J.D. Mullane sent out that tweet this afternoon while continuing his outstanding coverage of the trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell and his house of horrors.

They understand.

We hope that the jury does as well. Deliberations continue today: No verdict yet.

Update: No verdict. Jury resumes deliberating tomorrow morning.

  • Blake Waymire

Why is he in solitary? I say let the other inmates do whatever they want.

    • Garth Haycock

Well, he needs to be in solitary in order to be allowed due process. But after conviction (if that happens), he can be sentenced to prison and placed in general population. That would save Penn. taxpayers a lot of money.

      • mdtljt

        From your comment to God’s & the jury’s ear…

      • http://twitter.com/HotRodFan899 Gary Freeman

Problem is, since he’s part of the pro-abortion crowd, even if he’s convicted, they’ll probably keep him away from general population for his safety. Which is a disgusting display of injustice.

    • David Atherton

I say give them scissors and turn him loose.

    • David Atherton

I say give them scissors and turn him loose.

    • CDUB

Hey felons, have a nice day with him. Thank you.

  • mickeyco

But not by our president, our first lady, etc. Nice to know the average felon has better morals.

    • trixiewoobeans

Yes, his actions are “frowned on by felons”, but not the felons in the Democratic Party and WH. Seems there’s a better class of felon in the prison system than in our government.

    • I Am Breitbart

And that is a crying dam shame mickeyco!!!! Criminals have better values/morals than those who consider themselves so enlightened and presume to tell me how to run my life! SMFH!

  • bossmanham

Amazing that felons have a better sense of morality than this monster.

    • NY Republican

      why am I not surprised?

    • Elaine

      Exactly what I thought.

  • http://www.freedomreconnection.com CO2 Producer

Incidentally, a “shank” is also something Gosnell used to keep in a jar or flush down the toilet.

    • http://twitter.com/EbertKarl Karl Ebert

He may well have a deeper appreciation of a “shank” and the phrase “hush puppy”

      • http://www.freedomreconnection.com CO2 Producer

Great. First it was “beard.” Now it’s another article of slang I was better off not knowing. Both in one day. Damn it, Twitchy.

So felons get it, but NARAL, Planned Parenthood, and Obama don’t? Okay, I see how they are.

  • BlahBlah

I wouldn’t worry. Prisoners are very creative people. Someone will find a way to get to him.

    • 96leroy

Just like Dahmer and the broomstick. At least a little justice may get served to Gosnell as well.

  • Legal Immigrant in TX

Felons get it. Liberals don’t. Why am i not surprised?

    • Joe W.

      Felons & Liberals?? that’s redundant….

      • I Am Breitbart

        Touche’ Joe W.!!!!

      • Charles Hammond Jr

Not in this case. If it were up to Liberals this guy wouldn’t even be in trial… he’d be walking out scott free.

Then again the Felons would probably also dispense with the trial but there wouldn’t be a parade for him in that case…

Now what does THAT tell you?

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=7011573 Beth Lott

The jury does have 200+ counts against him to rule on. It’s probably going to take them a while.

  • http://twitter.com/lvanTwopointoh Honorable lvan2.0

Something tells me, if convicted, many fellow prisoners will try snipping his neck, although through the front, and not with scissors.

  • MrApple

That man is going to have an interesting time in prison.

  • Zathras11 @B5

I would like his feet to place in a jar on my shelf.
(I’m kidding, but seriously F this killer)

  • ceemack

So convicted felons have stronger moral convictions and a stronger belief in protecting children than pro-choice leftists do.

    • Abigail

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Honor among thieves but not among libbies.

  • http://twitter.com/murphylinn Murphy Linn Spears

Why are felons so sensitive to child molesters and Gosnells? Seems to me they wouldn’t care the crime….

    • Angie

Because even felons have more decency than progs?

Serious answer — A lot of hard-core, “career” felons were abused as children & they take out their pent up anger that they were too little/young to direct at their abusers on other abusers when they grow up and have the opportunity.

      • http://twitter.com/murphylinn Murphy Linn Spears

        Aww…good point..thx

    • Mike Peterson

Even these guys recognize there is a code. Children are off limits. Most murderers realize you don’t kill those who can’t protect themselves.

    • Guest

Lots of felons (non-pervs) have childhood experience being abused by adults, often their own parents.

  • socalcon

Respect for felons is growing by leaps and bounds.

  • dftl

Felons are smarter than several people I know!

  • dunst43

Wet blanket time. Remember that Obama took 85% of the Philadelphia vote. Senator Casey took 86%.

You can see the election numbers here http://phillyelectionresults.com/

Be prepared for jury nullification. I hope I’m wrong.

    • HayekGhostWriter

I share your fervent hope at being wrong on “jury nullification.” I predict conviction, then an Obama pardon in 2016. I also hope I’m very much mistaken!

    • Chrissy the Hyphenated

There were also huge numbers of voter fraud reports that were ignored, both in 2008 and 2012. That Black Panthers With Billy Clubs things? Philadelphia. Holder dropped the case cuz the perps were black.

  • Johnny Blade

Its telling when felons in prison have more honor than the man in the oval office.

Why weren’t you as angry at Dr Steven Chase Brigham?

    • mickeyco

Probably because, as with this case, almost no one who relied on MSM had a clue it was happening. You do remember, of course, that coverage of this case was forced on the MSM by conservative bloggers and Fox News. When I just googled Brigham, the only references are Christian sources. Not a single MSM site.

  • Ken Alan Draper

Do you realize how much of a scumbag you have to be to be considered a scumbag by murderers & rapist’s?

  • ajdecarlo

Not that uncommon when someone uses violence against children.
    Even Evil Has Standards

  • Rusty Shackleford

Let him and the kid touchers out into general population. Problem(s) solved!

  • http://baldilocks-talking.blogspot.com/ Juliette Akinyi Ochieng

The takeaway: most felons have a better sense of justice than do most Leftists.

  • meeester

There are some pretty harsh comments here directed at the person who could be our next Czar of Human Services.

    • sarahsupporter

      Or surgeon general

  • AZWarrior

    Put him in general population.

  • Daniel Medicis

Did Obama call Gosnell to congratulate him? I wonder if ME-Chelle’s got his back?

  • http://www.facebook.com/brett.mcmicken Brett McMicken

i wonder if he was smiling

  • Lady_Clare

How can those morons still be deliberating? FELONS have a better sense of morality than these lousy jurors???

  • Richard Testaccio

Put him general population lets save taxpayers some money.
