Oh, dear. Charlotte’s Mayor Foxx’s Twitter account was hacked (or phished) yesterday afternoon.

Like Stephanie Cutter’s when she was phished, his Twitter feed started hawking body fat burners.

And the dreaded “did you see this pic of you?” direct messages.

Amy Cowman, an NBC reporter/anchor, did not heed the “do not click” warnings.

Oh, sweetie. Bless your heart.

Her account is all good this morning.

Make sure the “lots going on” does not including clicking on phishing links, no matter how anxious you are to see pics of yourself. You’re welcome.

I have opened email that was in fact not from the sender but was selling the Raspberry pills. Does this mean I have been hacked also?

Social media apps are tools – when used properly, you’re at no greater risk of harm than you are using Disqus on Twitchy… btw, Disqus & Twitchy are part of that social media you dread… #justsayin

Libs are tools too, does that count?

    Stupid is as stupid does.

So Amy, what’s that new password? Is it NBCNews or password?

Foxx: “Having issues with account. Haven’t been able to pay for the Dem National Convention. Still owe $12 million. May have to close twitter account to get rid of the dun notices.”

That’s what you get for inviting all those Moonbats to Charlotte.
