Once again, ghoulish Bloomberg is politicizing a tragedy on the backs of the dead. In the wake of the Newtown tragedy, while families are grieving and preparing to bury their children and loved ones, Nanny Bloomberg  continued his repulsive behavior on “Meet the Press” this morning.

Of course she is. And of course Nanny Bloomberg will weasel himself in there somewhere.

The always cretinous Piers Morgan squees over Mayor Bloomberg’s ghoulish remarks, natch.

The Mayor’s Office proudly tweeted out quotes from Bloomberg’s appearance.

Twitter users have a different take.

Er, what?

Ghoulish and a liar.

Bingo. As Twitchy reported, Bloomberg jumped on the ghoul-wagon immediately, demanding “a plan” from President Obama.

Hey, to be fair, Nanny Bloomberg thinks he is a dictator, so it’s no wonder he is so confused. Twitter users also point out a little something to the mayor: Irony is hard.

Huh. Answer that, mayor.

Exactly. And neither will ghoulish grand-standing by the self-serving and soulless Bloomberg. Next time, Bloomberg, could you possibly wait until grieving and devastated parents have buried their young children, and true heroes are put to rest, first?

I called him an IDIOT yesterday and I’ll call him one today……

  • http://www.facebook.com/pjcitro Paul J. Citro

There shouldn’t be ANY no gun zones, these are the places the shooters target.

    • http://www.righthook38.com righthook38

You’re right. To your point, I just heard today that the shooter in the Aurora movie theater had many closer theaters to his residence, but this was the only place that had a sign banning guns, and that’s why he picked it. There was no one to shoot back. Look at Chicago….some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, but the violence is totally out of control. It just doesn’t work.

  • Jack Deth

Bloomberg is a gutless, soulless, major league moron!

I’ll wager he couldn’t wait to get to the MTP studios and leave his phalanx of armed bodyguards to make a Rupert Murdoch caliber and quality ass of himself this morning.

I don’t mind watching Bloomberg blissfully chewing scenery while beating himself in the head with a political hammer. Especially on such a non-starter. But couldn’t he have at least waited until those who were killed have been mourned and interred?!!!

I’ll also wager Obama’s “visit” to Newtown, Connecticut later today to “Never let a crisis go to waste” back fires badly and goes nowhere in a hurry.

  • stuckinIL4now

Bloomy oughta shut up about guns and maybe try fixing NY which seems to still need a lot of it after Sandy.

  • Scott

I think I will go get me a XLARGE Mt Dew and clean my guns while thinking about how glad I am that Nanny Bloomers isn’t my mayor and I dont have cable so I cant watch Panties Morgan tell me how violent the US is compared to UK.

    • Guest

Morgan really put those fellas back on their heels. Too bad you missed it. It was fun as hell to watch.

    • Hello Jerry (D)

x2. A one fingered salute also helps too.

  • Rick Stones

The only difference between this ghoulish clown and Fred Phelps is a sign that says, “God Hates Guns”. It wouldn’t surprise me to see that next.

    • An Interested Party

A very interesting point. Do you think God likes, or maybe even loves guns? What about Jesus? What do you think Jesus’ weapon of choice would be? WWJS: Who Would Jesus Shoot?

      • my preciousss!!

interesting question indeed. does the LORD of Hosts,CREATOR of you and me, sovereign over wretched mankind, who is outside time, who only had to utter LIGHT BE!! — and the universe was created — need guns?

        — and according to revelation 19:15: {(Jesus)Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty}
my honest answer is no, i don’t think he needs a gun to strike down the object of his anger.

      • TocksNedlog

Probably the first guy to ask three inane questions back to back to back.

      • Rick Stones

I assume Jesus neither likes, nor dislikes guns. Throughout His public ministry he demonstrated that he is a “rational” God. He fully understands that, just like Phelps deranged point of view that gay marriage caused this horrible tragedy, your deranged point of view is equally irrelevant.

  • Guest

Good for Bloomberg. I hope Obama takes his advice. He is an intelligent, thoughtful and innovative politician. It takes a lot of courage to face the mobs of false-conscious gun-totting, fanatics who comport themselves so viciously when faced with hard-to-accept facts.

    • Joe W.

What “facts” are you citing, Zippy. Care to share any with us??

      • Guest

It would be a wasted effort. Facts are only useful when discussing issues with people that acutally value facts. The values on display here are ideological, and deeply entrenched. For example, if I said I could present some facts that would change your mind, would you even consider them? Do you, or others, even open your minds the possibility of changing them?

If so, what you have changed your mind about recently?

        • Joe W.

Like all liberals, you deflect when challenged. What facts that gun laws help reduce gun crimes do you possess? I have MANY facts that PROVE that the opposite is true, yet you choose to deny and ignore them, all the while accusing ME of failing to be swayed by your “facts”…Until such time as you cite something that substantiates your position, I will simply regard you as another bleeding heart, ignorant, moon bat liberal. Fair enough?? Tough.

          • MRB

How about this fact? The most recent crime statistics, from UNODC, show US (4.8), UK (1.2), Germany (0.8) intentional homicides per 100,000 population. In the US, 67.5% of those homicides were committed with firearms. So, I either draw the conclusion that: “the easy availability of firearms makes it much easier to kill someone in anger” or “Americans are 5 times more vicious and barbaric than the British or Germans”. I don’t believe the second conclusion. I think it is much more reasonable to suggest that gun availability makes homicide easier.

          • Joe W.

What does this do to further the claim that gun control laws reduce gun crimes?? The exact opposite is true in the U.S. The fact is that every mass shooting in the U’S. in the last 20 years has been in a gun free zone”….Colorado AND Connecticut, as well as Chicago have the most restrictive gun control laws in the nation, yet Chicago has more gun violence than any where here in Texas or in Arizona, where gun control is next to non existent.

          • MRB

If you are correct that Colorado and Conneticut are “gun free” why were these last two mass shootings committed using, legally purchased, assault rifles? That doesn’t sound like Colorado and Conneticut are “gun free”. I have lived in European countries all my life. In none of these can you can legally purchase semi-automatic assault firearms. An American’s idea of “restrictive gun control laws” is ludicrous. In most European countries you can only buy a shotgun and then only if you own farmland.

          • Joe W.

The attacks were in Gun Free Zones, pal. Read my post. And the shooter in Connecticut did NOT use an “assault firearm” as you claim. The fact is, you can ban guns all you wish, but then the criminals will be the only ones armed, fool. Check out Switzerland, lib….They mandate that every household maintain a firearm, and their gun crimes are minimal. But keep trying with your false logic. You will NEVER succeed in disarming the millions of Americans who legally keep over 300 million firearms for our protection. THAT, my liberal friend will not happen.

          • MRB

Then why did Senator Joe Manchin (“A” rated NRA member) and the Conneticut Police call it an “Assault Weapon”?

I think you have proven “Guest’s” point, from above. You have an ideology, but have given no facts, only opinion to back up your ideology. I’ll leave you with this image, more statistics that you will ignore, I suspect.

Please understand that I am not trying to be antagonistic. I just think that there are social reasons for some of your views. I have spent time in Texas and there is a sense of community, where people look out for their neighbors. This is why you have less homicide. But in other areas of the country it would seem you need tighter control. Your argument seems to be that because kids aren’t being slaughtered in YOUR backyard then control isn’t needed anywhere.

I’m just glad that I live somewhere where we don’t have 300 million firearms and don’t have these mass shootings happening with regularity.

        • Hello Jerry (D)

          Answer his question.

        • Lord Foggybottom

I love this kind of dodge. When people don’t buy the bullshit you’re selling, you accuse them of being close-minded, all the while not listening to a thing they say. You’re the worst kind of person: you challenge somebody, and then when they reply you deflect or don’t engage.

        • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

I’m sure you change your mind and accept conservative ideas all the time.

    • Hello Jerry (D)

“Diane Feinstein to introduce assault rifle ban.”

Will she be giving up her concealed weapon then? That’s what I thought.

    • JustLikeAnimals

      Yep. Me, too.

    • Armando

Is her concealed weapon an assault rifle? That’s what I thought.

      • NRPax

I have noticed that people like her have absolutely no clue what an assault rifle is. Putting a bayonet stud or a scope on a rifle and calling it an assault rifle is like putting a spoiler on a Honda Civic and calling it a race car.

      • tredglx

ANY item can be used for assault on another person. Thus every item is an assault weapon.

  • Joe Squid

I remember that up until the sixties, you could order guns through the
mail. They advertised them in catalogs like Sears and Penny’s. Just send
them a check or money order – no questions asked. And these were the
same type of weapons that the gun-grabers erroneously refer to as
“assault ” weapons. Funny, but the guns haven’t changed much over the
years. So what DID change? Society. We have become desensitized to
killing and violence. Look at the blood and mayhem shown on TV, in the
movies, in computer games. Combine that with prisons equipped with
revolving doors, lenient judges who let criminals walk free, over and
over again. Human life has become cheap. The nations moral compass is
askew! Seriously! The solution to gun violence will not be found in
banning guns, but in restoring morality!

    • http://www.righthook38.com righthook38

You’re right. We abort millions of unborn babies, we promote violence and killing all over television, movies and video games. The media basically trashes the family unit at every turn, while promoting alternative lifestyles. More and more children have no parental guidance, and are basically raising themselves. Many kids have no social skills, and our teachers are telling kids there are no winners and losers, everyone is the same, and when kids face the reality of life and find that yes, there ARE winners and losers, they have no ability to cope and can’t handle the stress of the real world. Then they snap.

  • Hello Jerry (D)

    Mayor Doomberg. Enough said.

“Gee, wouldn’t it be great if we were all wards of the federal gubmint and only they had guns”, said the Regressives.

    • JustLikeAnimals

It’s happening right before our very eyes. Only question is will the 4 year clock run out before so much damage is done to this Republic that it can’t be repaired? Time will tell.

  • Gallatin

Question for LITTLE mayor mikey; is your security detail armed? If so why? When you are no longer the little putz that you are in public life will you still have a security detail? Will they be armed? If so why?

    • JustLikeAnimals

Yeah, I was thinking as Barack Hussein took the stage in Conn. a few hours ago that he is followed by some of the most heavily armed security in the country. But I guess his and his family’s personal safety is more important that mine.

A lot of unemployed people says “STFU KiM-JOng Bloomberg!” How many millions is the number of unemployed? I can’t even keep track under Barry.

    • JustLikeAnimals

And Barack Hussein wants it that way! The more unemployed there are, the more people are dependent on the government, and that keeps the government growing. It’s a self-feeding cycle of big government getting bigger by the day.

Welcome to Barack Hussein’s vision for America.

  • TocksNedlog

“48,000 Americans will be killed with illegal guns.”
Which part of his ass did His Honor pull this ‘statistic’ from?

    • Michael Anderson (WB)

So if all guns are outlawed, then there will be a lot more illegal guns and more Americans should die right?

      • TocksNedlog

Perhaps Bloomberg could lobby the AG to get all of the illegal guns off the street — including the ones that he (the AG) put there.

  • http://bobtheump.com/ BobTheUmp

No serious person can conclude there can be a gun ban. The cat is so far out of the bag it is ridiculous to believe there could ever be such a law enforced. This article, http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/07/30/3d_printed_assault_rifle/ , details how a hobbyist PRINTED OUT a gun with new 3d printing technology. Any machinist worth his certificate could make a rifle or hand gun. Talking about gun control is another fantasy of the left in the effort to grant even more power to a heavily armed gov’t over a frightened and disarmed citizenry.
