I’m curious how all these people think Medicare for all would be paid for. We can’t even cover our current Medicare enrollees

    • Jason Gary

Ssshhhhh…. quiet, you. You’re just a naysayer. Everything will be fine… here, have you tried the kool-aid?

      • IMPEACH_BOBO

How right you are too Jason Gary, I will take this BOBOcare law to the next level, IT IS A RAClST LAW ON TOP OF IT ALL !!!!! Who do all of you think is going to pay for those 30 MILLION NEW FREELOADERS, the whites will just like we are paying for almost all the welfare, food stamps, & all the other social services !! This is why BOBO had to mess with the 85% ( which 90% of are white ) who already had their own healthcare coverage, this was so BOBO could fund the 15% ( mostly minorities ) on our dime !!!!

BOBO needed people who could pay into this RAClST law, having just all FREELOADERS on the rolls would just make it so this RAClST law would self implode upon itself !!! The problem was BOBO had to figure out how to get some of the 85% off their plans & somehow force them to join his RAClST law !! Then it hit BOBO, he figured he would say the healthcare plans we have right now are not up to snuff ( at least according to BOBO himself ) & that our plans will be no more !! This is how socialist medicine starts & BOBO has started it !!

Just think of of this RAClST law as BOBO’s failed policy of REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH, BOBO might not been able to get this RAClST BS to pass Congress in 2009 when BOBO controlled both the House & the Senate but BOBO found another way around it & it is called BOBOcare !! Now in a couple months BOBO will announce the this RAClST of his is NOT going according to plan so he will sign an Executive Order & we will be in the socialist medicine plan called single payer !!! IT IS TIME TO IMPEACH THIS RAClST MUSLlM TYRANT BEFORE HE DOES ANYMORE DAMAGE TO THIS COUNTRY !!!

I’m more concerned that they’ll run our actual health care the way they run their website to sign up. NO THANK YOU! I like my plan and my doctor. I sure wish I could keep them. Obama says we can have It back for a year, but they are now illegal plans and they’re gone? How do we do that, exactly? He’s going to veto any bill that makes direct changes to the law. “Not enforcing the law” at will, seems to be ok? He’s been pretty sneaky about making changes. I just don’t get how the law can possibly not apply to all citizens equally? How can HE decide who has to abide by which laws?

Little Weiner and others like him would be exempt. The Rich & government employed will get the best health care. Just look at other nations with single payer. A few small countries can probably manage that kind of system, but not here! Look at all the fraud in other programs. You’ll need cash in hand to get actual HEALTH CARE. Not a good idea.

If you pay yourself or through an insurance company and meet a stone wall, there is the government to intervene.

I know this is hard for you to deal with, but we have a Congress that is authorized by the Constitution. The President seems unaware of this.

Congressional Representatives maintain offices in different cities within their districts. I pay their salaries. If you had a job, you would too. So you can be certain that I expect them to do their jobs while being paid.

Having a Congressman’s staff search for solutions to financing surgeries or expensive treatments, to assist constituents does not equate to government running our health care.

You believe that bureaucrats assigned to deal with medical rationing in the future will do so with altruistic intent. First thing conservatives need to learn to do here is stop calling it ‘single payer’ and refer to it correctly as ‘government healthcare’. So if you enjoyed your last trip to the Post Office, or found the long wait and appalling customer service you endured to renew your drivers license attractive, then government healthcare is for you. But when you wake up to discover a kidney missing after a hernia surgery, and a nameless bureaucrat tells you it was transplanted into the CEO of a major bank who contributed to the President’s campaign, it will be your own fault.

Whether you call it single payer plan, Medicare or Medicaid, it is government controlled healthcare insurance which was Obama’s plan long before he even stole the 2008 election. Now if you can go to a five star restaurant, have every high dollar item on the menu, all washed down by the finest wines and champagne, then pay the check with a five dollar bill, go ahead and jump on the single payer wagon. I read the bill and unfortunately, Sebelius and her “appointees” will be making the care decisions for you and your loved ones. It is spelled out in the bill all about the ‘risk scores’ used to evaluate if a person is eligible and to what degree they can receive care. If they do not qualify, remember back to Obama’s original comment that “maybe you’re better off not having the surgery but taking the pain pill.” Does the term ‘death panel’ sound familiar? How about systematic genocide? Infanticide?? For all the MSM Obama bootlickers that hope they can go on Medicare, go ahead, this dictator will not need you or your lies anymore, so he will be real anxious to rid himself of the likes of you. That’s not to say that my military health care was poor — it was NOT. But in the military, the stress is to get you up and productive again, not to find out what’s wrong with you and fix it. That’s the reason that at 67, I’m totally disabled. I can’t say that fixing the problems earlier would have done any good, but failing to fix them made them worse.

Great John, you’ve signed up for Medicare. I’d also be willing to bet that you, like most seniors, have signed up for additional coverage to fill in the gaps to cover what Medicare doesn’t. A Medicare Plus plan, offered by a private insurance company. Funny that you don’t mention this part of the story at all.

    • Taxpayer1234

And he doesn’t realize some of those plans are being CANCELLED because they don’t meet Ocare requirements. Gawd, the stoopid is ass-deep in liberal la-la land.

So a single payer option that provides the basic minimum requirements for everyone, with the option of additional private coverage for extras over and above that. Makes sense to me.

      • djm1992✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ¹⁰⁰﹪☭⁻ᴴ⁸ᴵᴺᴳ ♎︎

Until, that is, our Democrat overlords start complaining that it’s just not fair -and you know that they will. Some people can’t afford this additional private coverage, so it’s just not FAIR that some people can have it, and others can’t. They’ll also start complaining again that the private companies are price gouging, and giving people “substandard” coverage. Then they’ll just get rid of private coverage of any kind completely, and have 100% single payer. No exceptions. Everybody in, NOBODY out. No exceptions, even if you want to be out.

If you want to see substandard, just wait until Washington DC totally controls all aspects of healthcare: delivery, payment, physician training -everything. Substandard will be all around you, and the only way to not see it will be to have a left wing mindset-induced willful blindness to it.

We have Medicare. It was mandatory. The government gave it to us when we retired. BUT, it isn’t good enough for our needs. We have a supplement from BC/BS and between the TWO plans, we are covered. Without the private sector filling in the gaps, we would have VERY BAD INSURANCE!!!

I hope that Conservatives can rally to the cause a little faster than they did with Obamacare in general. I’m not sure my heart can stand seeing Nancy Pelosi leading the Congressional Democrats down the street with a shiny new single payer Obamacare

  • JR48

They did so well with Obamacare, time to give them the whole damn thing!

    LMAO

  • Zach Smith

I think that roar in the distance is people with torches and pitchforks.

    • happyscrapper

      I PRAY it is so!

  • Frustrated Teacher

So government is a COMPLETE failure at Healthcare….now, OH, let’s have government SAVE us from the failure of……..wait for it…….GOVERNMENT! Liberal illogic in a nutshell folks. A mental disorder if ever I saw one!

  • Chico Escobar

At least I appreciate that folks on the left will bring out single payer is/was the point all along. I rather have the discussion then to use the bait and switch of the ACA. The ACA is meant to collapse private insurance so single payer will be the only option.

  • EastValleyConservative

How can anyone NOT have seen that? Problem though….guess they shouldn’t have screwed the economy so badly that the approximately 52% of people who DO pay taxes could be punitively forced to pay for the rest. How much can they steal from a part time paycheck or better yet….NO PAYCHECK?

  • beachmom H

This was the goal to begin with. The failure of this law? Ta daaa! Barack the Beneficent to the rescue with single (taxpayer) payer socialist healthcare system!

  • happyscrapper

Of course, they wanted this all along. But we are broke!! Medicare is going broke as we speak. So is SOCIAL “Security”. How do they think they will fund a single payor system? These people are terminally stupid and the American People are suffering for it. This HAS to be stopped. Single Payor health insurance WILL be the death of democracy and freedom…forever! We must fight this with everything in our power.

  • happyscrapper

Single payer = socialized medicine, the death knell for Freedom and Liberty. Call it what it IS!!! Changing the word from crap to flowers does not change it from stinky garbage into roses in bloom. Yet, millions of brain dead idiots are taken in by this ploy! I say, wake up morons, or get the hell out of MY country!

  • Oysteria

Nice, they charged the public roughly a billion dollars so far to force us into something we don’t want to force us into something else we don’t want.

    Scum. Bags.

  • Pat Loudoun

The funny thing is, they went full retard on Obamacare, so now it will be much easier to point out that government IS the problem.

  • Linda (Lou) Norris

More like Medicaid for all, including rolling Medicare into it.

  • Ruth

If that wizard of smart Lawrence O’Donnell thinks it’s a good idea, what could go wrong?
