Yesterday evening, NBC News reported that the Obama Administration has known for years that millions of Americans would lose their insurance plans, contrary to President Obama’s infamous promise. The Drudge Report featured NBC’s article in a banner headline. Late last night or early this morning, after several mendacious White House officials tried to claim that people aren’t being forced out of their health plans, NBC’s article inexplicably disappeared from its website:
The NBC story on Obama lying now comes up with a "Error 404" message. Obamacare got to them, too!

Drudge is still linking to the old url–now a 404 page. Think of the lost traffic.

NBC’s article then re-appeared with several portions missing:

At the time of this writing, those paragraphs are back up.
NBC is blaming the problems on “issues” with its “publishing tool.”

@nycsouthpaw Issues with our publishing tool and URL and then updating. Should be fixed now. Our apologies. New URL: http://t.co/eTFXrqS9jr

It appears this was nothing more than a technical glitch.
NBC is kinda non-transparently reconstructing its earlier story. Occam's razor: Probably a technical foul-up and nothing sinister.

That said, the whole episode is odd.
Do NBC News and http://t.co/5SL5DzlJ6F share the same web vendor? What's the dillyo?
