Multiple media outlets are reporting that a gunman entered the school, took the elevator to the fourth floor, and shot an administrator in the chest. The gunman then reportedly shot himself.

Both the suspect and victim were taken to the hospital. They are in critical condition.

There are some reports that the shooter was a former student.

Twitchy will monitor this story and will update this post with new information.

Update:

Police are saying the shooter was a part-time student who had been attending the school for four or five years.

Both the shooter and the victim are currently in surgery. Both are expected to survive.

The local Fox affiliate is reporting that the shooter used a handgun, not a so-called “assault weapon”:

The victim has been identified by a local media outlet as Greg Elsenrath. He is the financial aid director at the college.
