The Associated Press has expanded its story on the IRS “inappropriately flagging” about 75 conservative groups for additional review. Evidently there’s nothing to see here. The bullying of Tea Party organizations wasn’t “motivated by political bias” or anything like that.
[Lois Lerner, head of the division that oversees tax-exempt groups] said the practice was initiated by low-level workers in Cincinnati and was not motivated by political bias. After her talk, she told The AP that no high level IRS officials knew about the practice. She did not say when they found out.

See, these unnamed “low-level workers” just thought words like “tea party” and “patriot” were awfully suspicious. Bias? What bias, you wingnutty wingnuts?
IRS apologizes but claims practice "was not motivated by political bias." What?! The IRS is actually making that claim?

Um, if the IRS didn't do it b/c of political bias then WHY did they target conservative groups!?!?!!?

OK, let’s pretend that’s not a load of crap. What exactly was the motivation for targeting conservative groups?
RT @aaronblakewp: IRS spokeswoman on targeting tea party groups: "Didn't do it because of political bias." // They were outraged by a video?

How long until we hear the ol’ YouTube video excuse? Looks like the IRS is hoping this will just blow over.

Unacceptable.
When all else fails, blame math:
The senior IRS official briefing the press just said: "I'm not good at math."
