The New York Times ran a poll over on its Instagram feed asking if their readers are anxious about re-entering society and 66% of them said yes.
The NY Post’s Karol Markowicz and Brooklyn resident writes, “These kinds of numbers really scare me for the future. Some people will be anxious, sure, but 66%?!”:

This is what you get when there’s no leadership on the issue:
I think a huge amount of this is the leadership vacuum, or leaders actively encouraging anxiety. What if we had a president and CDC officials telling people that after they're vaxxed they should lose the masks and go back to normal life?

The good news is that this (hopefully) doesn’t represent a sample of the general public:

DEFINITELY not a representative sample of the public. https://t.co/XPIqP9ZHUo

This is good to read:
We had an outdoor neighborhood gathering of about 40 people last night. Not one mask in sight.

Join the rest of us, NYT readers!
To be fair, millions of people "re-entered society" months ago. Anyone who hasn't yet is going to be skewed towards the more anxious. https://t.co/FjJiahsm7R

But it’s, one, bad news if you live among NYT readers:

And it’s also bad news as this will shape national coverage.
