The Rhode Island Democratic party is under fire after it endorsed Trump-supporter Michael Earnheart over incumbent district 3 state Rep. Moira Jayne:

According to reports, Earnheart has retweeted Mike Cernovich in the past, earning him the “alt-right” monker:

Although the head of the party now says he didn’t full research Earnheart’s background:

Some think the endorsement was retaliation for past comments Jayne made about excessive drinking in the state legislature:
