Alec Baldwin decided to defend Hollywood scumbag Woody Allen over allegations made by his daughter, Dylan Farrow, that the filmmaker sexually abused her when she was a little girl.
Baldwin compared Farrow to Mayella Ewell, the character in “To Kill a Mockingbird” who lied in court to say she was raped by Tom Robinson:
1 of the most effective things Dylan Farrow has in her arsenal is the “persistence of emotion.” Like Mayella in TKAM, her tears/exhortations r meant 2 shame u in2 belief in her story.
But I need more than that before I destroy some1, regardless of their fame.
I need a lot more.— HABFoundation (@ABFalecbaldwin) January 28, 2018
To say that @RealDylanFarrow is telling the truth is to say that @MosesFarrow is lying.

Maybe Baldwin never read “To Kill a Mockingbird” because it’s made clear in the book that Mayella was by her father:
Did you miss the whole part of the book about Mayella being abused by her father or https://t.co/6vNvfzFjuH

You're right! She is like Mayella in To Kill A Mockingbird in that her father was sexually abusing her 🙂 https://t.co/BQozXUiWJC

Earlier in the week, Baldwin tweeted that it was his privilege to work with Allen throughout the years:
Woody Allen was investigated forensically by two states (NY and CT) and no charges were filed. The renunciation of him and his work, no doubt, has some purpose. But it’s unfair and sad to me. I worked w WA 3 times and it was one of the privileges of my career.

And Baldwin has a message for anyone offended by his tweets:
If my defense of Woody Allen offends you, it’s real simple.
Unfollow.
Condemn.
Move on.— HABFoundation (@ABFalecbaldwin) January 28, 2018
OK?
