CNN commentator and Donald Trump surrogate Scottie Nell Hughes is under fire for comments she made regarding Tim Kaine speaking in Spanish at a rally in Miami on Saturday.
Hughes told Wolf Blitzer in a comparison between Kaine and language used at the RNC in Cleveland, “But what Mr. Trump did, he spoke in a language that all Americans can understand. That is English.” She added, “I didn’t have to get a translator for anything that was going on at the RNC this week and I’m hoping I’m not going to have to start brushing up on my ‘Dora the Explorer’ to understand the speeches given this week.”
