The latest jobs report has been released, and Paul Krugman wanted to make sure that former President Obama got his due:
Good jobs report. Pro tip: the first few months of job numbers reflect the previous president's policies, not the new guy
— Paul Krugman (@paulkrugman) March 10, 2017
From this point on, however, Krugman is unsurprisingly pessimistic:
The fact that US probably close to full employment now means slow job growth over next few years, which is actually bad for Trump

It should be noted that Krugman’s predictions haven’t always proven to be very accurate.
I'm going to really enjoy how spectacularly wrong Krugman is going to be about this. https://t.co/yWggkopFlx

Yet @paulkrugman will blame trump for the next 8 years despite his call today of cyclically slow job growth independent of Trump. https://t.co/Kt6V8ieonX

If Hillary Clinton had been elected president we’re guessing Krugman’s future predictions would be way more optimistic.
