Early in 2013, then-Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. and his wife were both charged with crimes involving illegally spending campaign funds as well as tax violations. Jackson Jr. completed his prison sentence in September of last year, and his wife Sandi was released just over two months ago. The couple is hoping for a favor from President Obama:
