Even Uber is getting political now by helping push a liberal talking point:
Uber calls on riders to reflect on gun violence. https://t.co/31DbmZ9Oyg pic.twitter.com/8r8PqxAIU9

There’s the term “gun violence” yet again:
After the shootings at a police protest in Dallas, Uber on Friday decked out the app with reminders to think about the incident. It changed the UberX icons to peace signs and enforced a “moment of silence” where nobody could request a ride for one minute.
Careful, Uber, you’re not the only option:
There @Uber, it's done. App deleted. Will never use you again. Take a minute to reflect on that.@nycjim

.@nycjim 1 minute to reflect and decide to donate your fare to the NRA as you walk to your destination instead

@CuffyMeh Guess there's not enough room for them to finish the thought: "and why you need to be able to protect yourself"

Well @Uber, I did take a minute. I thought about your armed driver that stopped a mass shooting in Chicago. https://t.co/UC2iBaKvzX
