During a discussion at the #KempForum16 in Columbia, South Carolina featuring several GOP presidential candidates, activists interrupted Marco Rubio several times:

The protesters probably didn’t like Rubio’s response:

  • grais

  • fragglerock61

All these protesters should be investigated and any who are actually illegal should be deported. End of story. Problem solved. Thanks for making our job easier.

  • Dan13

    Progressives sure are disruptive.

  • BorderLine Guy

Rubio wants to deport their families? I thought he loved amnesty.

    • drw

I don’t think he ever loved it, he was the new fish in an unfriendly pond trying to get the best deal he could.

      • Kate

Yep, he tried to work with moderate Republicans and liberal Democrats to make the Gof8 Bill better for conservatives. It didn’t end up that way, so he stopped supporting it.

I really don’t have a problem with that, since he’s been pretty honest about it.

        • http://www.black-and-right.com/ IceColdTroll

I’m still uncomfortable with his involvement in the “I-Squared Act”:

          • David Majors

You should be. Rubio did not stop supporting it. He stopped SAYING he supported it.

          • thetreyman

he didn’t even do that. in the last debate he still said he wanted amnesty for the good illegals.

          • Ryan Schneider.

It sounds to me, overall, that he supports enforcement of the 14th amendment as it was interpreted prior to 1970. That would not require a new amendment and would make a sizable dent in the illegal population.

          • globalcrap

Good illegals are still illegal alien criminals.

      • des111168

You’re whitewashing what he did. He lied to the people that elected him, and then immediately betrayed them upon ascending to office. He liked the Gang of 8 deal. He was enthusiastic about it, because he thought it would get his name in the history books.

        • drw

I’m not whitewashing shit. I stated my opinion, if yours differs it’s your prerogative to share it. Preferably without accusing someone you’ve never met of attempting to deceive.

          • JP

And his accusation isn’t even factual. So tired of this low-info crap.

    • globalcrap

Rubio flips and flops on immigration.

  • Kevin Giltrud

“Rubio wants to deport my family!”……

    • fragglerock61

So go with them and get a free trip to Mexico.

      • Kevin Giltrud

Went there for awhile in uniform. Didn’t like it much. Someone else can go in my place.

        • fragglerock61

I was referring to the protesters. They should go with their families when they get deported.

    • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Heck, I want to deport their family.

    • des111168

“Rubio wants to deport my family!”

      If only

    • Maryland_Malcontent

And the only problem is that it isn’t true 🙁

    • JP

The best part is that a blogger had a post up today who was at the Kemp forum who said he actually sat next to one of the protestors on the plane – not knowing that they were protestors of course. So he said obviously, these weren’t local people who just took an opportunity to randomly protest. They were paid by some liberal dark money group to go and do that. Shameful.

      • Kevin Giltrud

Buses are for “the little people”.

      • UpNorth2

So, how did the illegal get on the plane? Or was he from one of the states that gives illegals a valid license/ID card?

        • JP

I do not know the legal status of the protestor he claims to have shared a plane with – I think it’s possible that some are citizens or legal immigrants who just support open borders.

          • UpNorth2

“I think it’s possible that some are citizens or legal immigrants who just support open borders”. You mean, like democrats?

    • UpNorth2

They holler that, like it’s a bad thing. I agree, ship them out, all of ’em.

  • Guy_Montag_OG

The Left, when confronted with rational thought, often resorts to intimidation. Intimidation is the standard technique of totalitarian supremacists. Who are the actual fascists in our Western societies?

  • carla5731

This is just another type of affluenza. Like spoiled children, illegal immigrants have been appeased and praised by people in the highest levels of the federal government. Now they show their gratitude by disrupting our political process to make more demands. The only thing they deserve is our contempt.

    • Guy_Montag_OG

Here’s my 2c prediction for the current Horse Race: Trump wins the GOP nomination, and chooses Kasich as VP running mate to take the swinging Ohio. Kasich seems very lucid, so it looks like a winning ticket.

      • fragglerock61

Might as well vote for Hillary. Trump is an old pal of the Clintons, and Kasich should be running for the Dem nomination as “conservative” as his policies are.

        • Guy_Montag_OG

Just a prediction, not an endorsement or indictment. Predictions are as valid as the 5 numbers I picked for the PowerBall tonight.

          • fragglerock61

            Fair enough.

      • Maryland_Malcontent

Kasich is crazier than Joe Biden and, from what I’ve seen, the opposite of lucid.

I’d like to think that Kasich’s national exposure has made Ohioans realize that Kasich isn’t the guy they thought he was…he’s certainly not the conservative crusader who was lionized in the Limbaugh Letter a few years back.

        • Guy_Montag_OG

          Hi M_M,
I’m not endorsing anyone — I’m trying to predict The Future! Ohio is an integral swing state, and my “prediction”, which is not worth anything, is that if Trump wins the nomination, he’ll choose Kasich as his VP running mate. The conservative bona fides of Trump and Kasich are another topic altogether.

          • Maryland_Malcontent

Trump is completely destroying “K-Sick” in Ohio polling. If the sitting governor can’t even come close to beating Trump in his own state then he really brings nothing to the ticket.

Kasich being in power wasn’t enough to turn OH red for Romney and I doubt Kasich being on the ticket would turn OH red for a Trump/Kasich ticket: Ryan couldn’t turn Wisconsin red for Romney/Ryan and that was a republican-majority state.

After what Trump has said about “Karate” Kasich, I can’t see him being on the ticket.

          • Guy_Montag_OG

No disagreement, other than “after”. “After” is very different than “during”. Whomever wins the GOP nomination must consider the swing states — VA, FLA, Ohio, and Colorado. As I mentioned earlier, my “prediction” is worth nothing. But I still like to “predict”. I want the GOP nominee to win. How that occurs, I don;t know. I’m just predicting.

          • Maryland_Malcontent

After calling him (IMHO correctly) a failed governor who only got lucky due to fracking and pointing out his culpability for the 2008 economic disaster I just can’t see Trump being able to put Kasich on the ticket even if he wanted to.
I still find Ohio extremely suspicious in 2012, same with Wisconsin: how can states elect a majority of Republicans to state and federal office but wind up voting Democrat in the Presidential election? 🙁

          • UpNorth2

The same as Michigan. We elected a House and State Senate solidly R and had a R governor. But, the people in Detroit, Flint, Pontiac, Saginaw and Muskegon did their job, they voted for the Preezy. They just didn’t bother to vote down ticket before picking up their carton of smokes and the two 40 ouncers.

  • Sum Ting Wong

These people are not “protesters,” they are criminals, period. If we had any leadership at all or an administration that cared about the laws of the land, we would have ICE agents at these events and when one of these criminals self incriminates themselves by saying they are undocumented they would be immediately arrested and deported. Problem solved.

  • Ed McDowell

    Paid disruptors.

  • Penny✓ItsSoFluffy! #GoBolts!

Oh, gee, really? Your illegal family is going to be deported?

  • https://twitter.com/fedupamerican5 EverydayWoman

As a legal immigrant, my blood boils when these law breakers pretend to be ‘immigrants’ and cry crocodile tears about ‘family’! I am shocked that native born liberals think it is OK to break the law and disrespect their country in such open manner! What a bunch of idiots!

    • Kenton Clarkson

Libs “think” this way because they know the illegals are all future D voters.
If we had millions of white Christians from Europe or S Africa that were all conservatives, raising their kids that way, and future R voter the libpukes would be screaming for them to be deported

  • https://twitter.com/fedupamerican5 EverydayWoman

Don’t separate the family, let these illegals take their kids with them if they don’t want to leave ‘American Citizen’ kids in social services custody!

  • KansasGirl

“After third heckler, Rubio says we’re going to enforce our immigration laws.”
Hey Marco, actions speak louder than words. smh

  • ThewlynOh ✓certifiable

you’re an ILLEGAL immigrant – GTFO

  • interestedobserver2

Guess we know who they fear…

    • LimpingHenry

      Whom do they fear?

  • Crakalakin

    Undocumented and unafraid.

    The problem in a nutshell.

  • CombatDiver

Maybe they forget he is part of the gang of ocho.

  • Kenton Clarkson

    Confront these ILLEGALS directly:
    YOU are not a citizen
YOU came across OUR border ILLEGALLY
YOU have NO right to be here
    YOU are a CRIMINAL
GO HOME on your own and if you do not you will be DEPORTED

  • Lyle Petersen

Why protest Rubio? Don’t they know he’s on their side?

  • rambler

Rubio was willing to let those families stay….. so that moron doesn’t know whom to heckle.

  • Newportcarl

I returned from 4 weeks in Mexico yesterday. Wonderful hardworking friendly people. Funny thing though, no one offered me me free housing, health care, scholarships, food, or welfare money. Maybe they know something we don’t ?

  • Magnifico

Did Rubio pay them to protest??? Pretty sure he’s the amnesty guy.

  • freeinaz

They should’ve had 5 or 6 Border Patrol/ICE vans and trucks parked outside and there would’ve been no protests.

  • SupplyGuy

They don’t know him very well, do they?
Maybe this will help Marco change his mind on amnesty.
Now that I think about it, maybe Rubio paid these guys to protest his “immigration” stance to try to regain some conservative cred.

  • lilwren

    …law-breaker, no stake here…

  • http://www.black-and-right.com/ IceColdTroll

Well, as one commentator I heard remarked, every time you send a man to jail you (potentially) break up his family.

    Tough sh1t.

  • Paul V

Apparently these B word [illegitimate children] don’t know Rubio or were paid by his campaign. He’s the biggest hoser in favor of amnesty that calls himself a Republican in the race.

  • des111168

“6th interruption”… something you don’t see at Trump rallies. Once, and they’re gone.

  • Luv2GoFly

“Marco Rubio wants to deport my family” Yeah? Well guess what, so do I!

  • globalcrap

Illegal alien children came across the borders first, then came the so called illegal alien parents .

  • Maryland_Malcontent

So is it that Rubio paid people to protest his (mythical) desire to deport in order to “ride the Trump Train”, or is it that these protesters are actually that ignorant of Marco Rubio’s burning desire for amnesty?

    • JP

I think Hilary is worried that Marco would draw in to many independent and centrist Dem voters.

  • Kevin Williams

Staged by Rubio to make him look tough on immigration
But we all no he is NOT.
Just say no to the RINO

  • © Sponge

We’re a nation of LAWS, asshole. Therefore, if you’re undocumented, you SHOULD be deported. It’s not “cruel” if the country you came from didn’t SUCK SO BAD, now is it? Maybe you should FIX your HOMELAND so you don’t have to mess MINE up. Jackasses.
