President Obama had a town hall on guns last night which was broadcast on CNN. The NRA had been invited to be there, but declined:
.@POTUS can talk about background checks all he wants, but that’s nothing more than a distraction from the fact that he can't keep us safe
— NRA (@NRA) January 8, 2016
.@POTUS doesn’t want an intellectually honest policy discussion. He wanted #NRA to be an audience member at his PR stunt. No thanks

“40 Year Old Virgin” director Judd Apatow insists there’s a different reason the NRA didn’t want to be there:
The NRA didn't attend the Town Hall because there is no logical argument against sane gun legislation. https://t.co/9erCAAs3ZY

Is that so?

The NRA certainly didn’t have to be there in an official capacity to make Obama sound foolish.

Seems there were some Members of the NRA in audience… Obama didn't like that. https://t.co/885gNUOECa

And progressive Hollywood’s favorite president ever will get to keep the Gun Salesman of the Year title for at least another year.
