The entire climate change movement is a scam. The elite at the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has decreed that Western nations need to keep the earth's temperature right where it is now, plus or minus 1.5 degrees Celsius. Back in 2021, NPR explained just what would happen if the earth warmed 1.5 degrees.
Marine heat waves have already doubled in number since 1980 and are expected to become more intense as temperatures rise. At 1.5 degrees Celsius, it's likely that 70 to 90% of coral reefs will die off worldwide. At 2 degrees Celsius of warming, 99% are lost.
"If we delay even a year or two more, we really are going down a pathway where there will be no return," Hoegh-Guldberg says. "We need to act and we need to act decisively, without question and solve this problem."
…
More than 4 million people in the U.S. are at risk along coastlines, where higher sea levels would cause bigger storm surges and higher high tides. As the ocean rises, many small island nations around the world are at risk of becoming uninhabitable.
I can't believe the hubris of politicians who feel they can regulate the temperature of the planet. Climate has changed long before the human race even existed, but we're supposed to believe that the earth's current temperature — right now, today — is the "right" temperature.
But what about that cute polar bear trapped on an ice floe? You know what? It swam there. They can swim. And there was obviously thick enough ice for a photographer to drag all of his equipment out there and take the shot. And even if the planet heats up a couple of degrees, the polar bears can just migrate north.
The last crazy idea I heard of was releasing tiny reflective particles into the upper atmosphere to reflect some of the sunlight. How much would that cool that planet? Or would it just keep it from heating up?
Steve Milloy of Junk Science noticed a piece in the New York Times about something that was once a "fringe idea" but is gaining interest. How about deploying a giant parasol out in space to block out the sun?

Climate idiots want to block out the Sun with a giant parasol 932,000 miles out in space.🙄

Funny how people might be smart enough to engineer something like that but too stupid to figure out that emissions don't affect the climate.https://t.co/CSOk5eChlT pic.twitter.com/xUG35ICoTn
"Now, a team of scientists says it could launch a prototype within a few years."
So scientists are working out ways to block out the sun while the rest of us drive around in electric cars and eat bugs.
Hillary Clinton famously said in her nomination speech, "I believe in science." That means nothing. I believe in the scientific method (which, by the way, is a sign of "whiteness"). Just because you have a lab coat doesn't mean I believe everything you say.
Stupid ideas like this will be the demise of planet Earth!

Who is bankrolling the people coming up with these ideas?
