I've already covered some of the organizations that have popped up, like England's BirthStrike, a group of women who are too afraid to have children because of climate change. Lots of people ask why you'd bring a child into the world the way it is. This secularist, anti-capitalist California native decided to ask: Do people who choose to have kids actually think they're going to live good lives, or are they going to be feral scavengers living on a desert planet? There is some hope … California's much-lauded high-speed train that was approved in 2008 might be up and running before today's infants turn 10.
People can get weird about children. But if you're so scared of climate change that you won't reproduce, it's probably for the best, as it saves a child from being brainwashed with fear.
Let me preface this tweet by saying that this is a judgment-free zone. I am genuinely curious about this topic.

Do people who are choosing to still have kids think their children are going to have good lives?
We live in the safest, richest, healthiest time to be alive in history. https://t.co/AXZWEl4IkM

If you think it’s rough having kids now, let me introduce you to the entirety of human history https://t.co/LJZKrsUZK6

“Life is bad and the world is a hellscape” is not actually a healthy or normal way to view things and if you strongly feel this way I would gently suggest that you have clinical depression, not an accurate read on the human condition. https://t.co/SHNJvCzUnC

Do people who shame childbearing because of knuckleheaded utilitarian value metrics think they aren't uncritical liberal goons? https://t.co/1kZtYEbcbz
I see conservatives like Bethany Mandel shamed all the time on Twitter for having too many kids, let alone homeschooling them.
I say I'm glad now that I had my kids when I did before schools became indoctrination centers for critical race theory and queer activism. The Left having control is a lot more frightening than climate change.
