We’ve seen a few stories cross our timeline about police officers quitting the force, citing the current environment and a lack of support from above. As Twitchy reported, after the fatal shooting of Daunte Wright, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota Mayor Mike Elliot announced that he doesn’t believe police officers necessarily need a weapon every time they make a traffic stop. They don’t necessarily need a weapon when responding to a domestic disturbance either, but it’s a damn good idea to have one. Or just let the social workers take point.
Here’s a traffic stop caught on bodycam, brought to us by journalist Bill Melugin, that didn’t require a weapon, but did require a great amount of restraint on the part of the police officer. So this is a teacher?
NEW: "You're always gonna be a Mexican, you'll never be white, you know that?"
A Latino LASD deputy sent me his bodycam video of a woman claiming to be a teacher launching into a racist tirade against him when he pulled her over in San Dimas. She repeatedly calls him a murderer. pic.twitter.com/Cc8jSVenCQ— Bill Melugin (@BillFOXLA) May 3, 2021
LASD also tells me the woman has a history of making false complaints against deputies.
I've learned what her name is, and she has been a professor at schools in the LA area, but at this time, I will not be identifying her because she has not returned any of my calls or emails.— Bill Melugin (@BillFOXLA) May 3, 2021
A professor? No way!
L.A. County Sheriff Alex Villanueva tells me he is proud of his deputy for staying calm and professional during this interaction. I will be live on @FoxNews this evening with this story, beginning with @TuckerCarlson.

The cop deserves a raise and promotion for such insane degree of restraint https://t.co/MsiXeJeFLy
— Harry Khachatrian (@Harry1T6) May 3, 2021
And her first call is to 911 if she needs help. The irony.
— Leo (@Perc89) May 3, 2021
Insanity on full display. The scary thing was, she claimed to be a teacher. Does anyone want their kids taught by this woman?
— Mark Higbee 🇺🇸 (@MarkHigbee) May 3, 2021
Please sign me up for her class. Then again she's a teacher in California, so she'll be getting a teacher of the year award and an activism award at the Oscar's next year.

Police departments should start collecting these types of encounters and show them to the public. The vast majority of Americas have no idea of these conditions.
— GreenSalsa (@GreenSalsa96) May 3, 2021
Going public with this was a good start.
Taking her kid to therapy. I'm not surprised.

Sad they're dehumanized and scrutinized so much😭

Look at what this cop had to deal with in LA. This is the environment we’ve created by demonizing police. pic.twitter.com/7uPNgRjfzn
— Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) May 3, 2021
I mean. Call it like it is. She’s a black teacher who’s openly being a racist towards a Hispanic officer.
— S k y (@Skkyyyyyyyyyyy) May 3, 2021
She needs to be exposed. No hiding her face and name. She shouldn’t be teaching anyone.
— Michael Rossi (@ROSSI017) May 3, 2021
What a shrew. That woman is a horrible human being. If she is married I feel sorry for her beat down husband. Wow, I wish I could articulate how I feel about that witch.
— Anne Cassity (@AnneCassity1) May 3, 2021
So much restraint shown. I don’t think I could have kept that calm. She was really baiting him.

Imagine calling someone a murderer when you get pulled over because you risked peoples lives by being on your phone while driving lol
— Todd (@toddmax16) May 3, 2021
"this cop is next." -lebron
— Zack Irons (@zackmirons) May 3, 2021
All in front of her kids… where do you think they get it?
— Flipper Sanderson (@FlipperSanders1) May 3, 2021
Cop handled that so well. She did everything possible to trigger him. She was extremely rude and disrespectful and even racist. Hope he doesn’t have to deal with too much of this shit.
— Patrick (@buythegoldip) May 3, 2021
This is painful to watch.
— Chandler Howard (@Chandler_Howard) May 3, 2021
What’s a teacher doing out and about in LA? Aren’t they locked down until 2035?
— Steve Hicks (@sthicks77) May 3, 2021
The more I watched the angrier I got. That officer is a saint!
— Mark Davies (@GrillinThyme) May 3, 2021
This is sick and it’s only going to get worse, unfortunately.
— Arthur Bucco (@chefartieb) May 3, 2021
Get her fired please. These are the people who need to be held accountable for abusing police and god help us if she teaches this behavior to her students
— Dave (@azsunrise9290) May 3, 2021
Name and shame her
— Joe McCarthy (@bruins_37) May 3, 2021
If she has a history of filing false complaints may be it is time to criminally prosecute her for such behavior.
— Eugene G. Bernat (@genebernat) May 3, 2021
Well, I would identify her. If she's bold enough to treat another person that way, she can damn sure face the consequences of her actions.
— KingDave (@KingDav87532060) May 3, 2021
If this was a white male cop and the person breaking the law was a drug abusing ex con, the cops name would be released and he would be fired and Lebron would have already put a hit out on him. Let’s return the favor. Release her name so we can call the school and terminate her
— RadDadNY (@rad_ny) May 3, 2021
Bill, drag her racist ass please.
— Maurice (@Lagotiticaca11) May 3, 2021
We know her name; she’s Karen from LA.
— Thia Ernst (@thia_ernst) May 3, 2021
The left wouldn't hesitate to dox someone and ruin their life for not wearing a mask, then the right protects this animal's identity and livelihood. This is why we lose.
— Serious Individual (@SeriousIndivid2) May 3, 2021
Good that you know her name. This woman should not be teaching anyone's children. Her behavior is unstable at best. It is also criminal. Props to the officer for remaining calm.
— NNK (@ancientmomma) May 3, 2021
I think that releasing her name would be the best. If she really is a teacher her employer should know about her racist behavior. She obviously has a racist attitude against the Hispanic population & could be grading students on that.
— Amalie Resist (@amalieresist) May 3, 2021
Who's surprised that she's got a history of making false complaints.
Folks need to know who'd employ a professor like that. And thanks for doing some real reporting — it's so dang rare anymore!— 1984 Is Today (@Tribble_Bait) May 3, 2021
NAME HER. This is of public interest & she is a professor. If she abuses police I wonder what she does to students when on a deranged ego trip? Bet there are stories.
— harps (@yolotus69) May 3, 2021
They always seem to make it until the very end, and then their true side comes out. Such a piece of garbage. I bet she has a “hate has no home here” sign in her front yard.
— Brambo (@BenBramlage) May 3, 2021
Infuriating.
