As Twitchy reported, President Obama on Tuesday announced that he was commuting the sentence of former Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning, who in 2010 leaked a huge cache of American military and diplomatic activities to WikiLeaks. Manning, originally sentenced to prison until 2045, now is set for release this May.
That’s big news, but it’s not the idea of President Obama springing a traitor from prison on his way out the door that is giving some the vapors Tuesday night; it’s not even Sen. Marco Rubio’s condemnation of the commutation. No, it’s … it’s … it’s almost too terrible to say.

Rubio doesn't use a pronoun- or the name "Chelsea" in his entire statement condemning Manning commutation decision: https://t.co/3JOZIrh4Xu

We can’t be hearing that correctly. One more time?

Or any mention of gender. Which actually I appreciate, given the people using Manning's former gender in tweets etc

Here’s something we could pretend offended us if we tried really hard.
You pointedly avoided calling him Senator Rubio. #Vapors #PearlsClutched
