Can even more celebrities fawn over President Obama in the White House's farewell video? Yes, they can

Hey, who’s up for another celebrity packed video about politics?

There’s one thing to be said about the YouTube video, “Yes We Can: People Share Their Most Memorable Moments from the Obama Presidency” — the handful of celebrities who appear aren’t melting down on camera for a change or fighting to influence or reverse the 2016 election. Sure, their hearts melt as they remember the eight years of the Obama administration, but at least they appear content and/or chemically sedated.

It wasn’t difficult to track down celebrities to appear; most were spotted on their way into the White House last night for the Obamas’ final bash for friends and supporters. Nor was it difficult to track down the progressive organization behind the video: this one didn’t come from Humanity for Progress or United for America or Save the Day … this bit of propaganda was posted by the White House itself.

“Do you think the shot of Obama firing a rainbow from his palm is too much?”

“Hell no, leave it in! And make sure to get video of his mic drop at the White House Correspondents Dinner. That was classic.”

When aren’t they emotional?

Don’t feel left out … regular schlubs like yourselves can still submit your own “Yes, we can” story through a form on the White House website. What was your favorite moment of the Obama years?
