As everyone knows by now, “lovey dovey” Cruz didn’t hang around on stage very long. Things turned ugly after it became clear that Cruz not only wasn’t going to endorse Donald Trump, but instead urged the audience to hit the polls in November and essentially vote for every Republican on the ballot not named Trump.
Chris Christie, who became cozy with Trump very early on in the campaign cycle, declared Cruz’s speech “awful.”
