Many conservatives who lobbied hard for a new Speaker of the House found their hopes dashed today, but that’s the sort of disappointment that can be overcome with time. Cher, however, won’t be happy until President Obama vetoes every piece of legislation to originate in the GOP.
He’ll be kept awfully busy, then, as Congress is now dominated by a white supremacist GOP made up of pro-Citibank, pro-rich, pro-fracking, pro-GMO war mongers who hate the poor, the old, the young, women, the hungry, the sick, immigrants, the homeless, poor people needing education, people of color, background checks, food stamps, food labeling, veterans, and gun control.
