Newsweek correspondent Mike Giglio wants to make it clear he’s not taking sides in the ongoing clash between Morsi hardliners and anti-government protesters in Egypt’s Tahrir Square: he just feels slightly safer camped among the anti-Morsi crowd. The protesters seem happy to show off their weapons, but would shotgun fan Joe Biden approve of this rather sketchy looking handgun?

A BBC reporter was hit in the head with bird shot this morning, and this poor fellow was reportedly struck a bit lower.

Several people on the scene are reporting that the latest round of violence appears to be dying down.

No matter which side they are on, I can’t blame people for arming themselves.

As they have take all guns, someone will find a way to have one. The handle might be older than the guy holding it and the barrel is just a pipe that the shell fits in.

perhaps obama and the democrats will call egypt to pass gun control to prevent bloodshed

MSM not only avoids any image of 25 Million people many holding anti Obama, anti American signs, they now feel safer with Obama’s Brotherhood. Forget AQ, forget the Taliban, forget Benghazi, Morsi’s and the brotherhoods involvement maybe masterminding the Lybian debacle. CNN is in the tank with America’s sworn enemy, the enemy that kills soldiers and a US ambassador. Despite Morsi screwing up Benghazi Obama stands by their side because MSM won’t report about any of it.
