It’s nice to see the leaders of the House agreeing on at least one thing, and that’s the good news of the release of President George H.W. Bush from Methodist Hospital after nearly two months.

Many feared the worst when Bush, 88, was moved into intensive care in December, but the former president soon told the nation to “put the harps back in the closet.”

It wouldn’t be Twitter without some hate tweets, though, would it?

Looks like it will be later. Our best wishes for a full recovery.

A great man from the Greatest Generation.

He passed his good qualities on to his namesake, and the country was lucky to have such fine men as leaders.

great news, hopefully he won’t be back in the hospital anytime soon. sorry to see how he is pushed around in a wheel chair though :-(

Often hospitals will require patients to ride in a wheelchair until they are off hospital property. It’s a liability issue if a discharged patient falls while still on the property.

I also would not doubt if his leg muscles have atrophied a bit. Put him on a stationary bike and in no time he will be walking around.

not often, but always. i just recently got my hospital wheelchair ride. but bush 41 is almost always in a wheelchair these days, it is sad to see.

It just wouldn’t be the same if we didn’t hear from the lefty loons who see wiping their butts as a major achievement.
