Mayor Mike Bloomberg held a press conference late Thursday allegedly to update reporters on the status of three police officers who were injured in two separate shooting incidents. It didn’t take long, though, for Bloomberg to point the finger at Congress. Shocking, we know.

But enough about them.

Call and demand a plan, right? And that plan is…

  • jsteele98

And taking away MY guns is going to stop some NYC scumbag how?

    • Jazzee

      amen great question
if someone would ask OBAMA and Feinstein their PLAN/BILL on getting all the thugs guns FIRST you know the BAD guys that love to kill people…….why aren’t they hopping on that? because we all know what this a dictator who intends to disarm this great country,…not so fast obamaer you arrogant jerk………………….there is trouble coming ..people will wake up to what he really is

  • syvyn11

    What a clueless POS.

  • ★♥ Harriet Baldwin

    Nanny Bloomberg is a moron.

    • LibLieExposer

You’re overrating him. Bloomberg will never have hemorrhoids because he’s a perfect asshole.

    • LibLieExposer

You’re overrating him. Bloomberg will never have hemorrhoids because he’s a perfect @$$hole.

  • ricci

dont forget to offer that free labotomy with every gun you turn in as well since your already brainless might as well get the proceedure…dont worry about insurance either obamacare will pay for it

  • Rip_Ford

It’s almost as though criminals don’t obey the law.

  • riddler1620

I assume that the mayor believes only he needs a private security detail when walking the streets of NYC?

    • Jazzee

you assume correctly and he can pound sand
this man is a disgrace why did New Yorkers give him a 3rd term?

  • Josephine (D)

Why on earth do they call for even more “action” when the “action” they’ve already taken clearly doesn’t work?

    • syvyn11

Because the “action” will do nothing more than make a liberal feel good. It doesn’t matter if a liberal’s “action” solves the problem, it’s about “feeling good”, not doing what is right.

Meanwhile, this breaking news just in:

According to the FBI annual crime statistics, the number of murders committed annually with hammers and clubs far outnumbers the number of murders committed with a rifle.

In 2005, the number of murders committed with a rifle was 445, while the number of murders committed with hammers and clubs was 605. In 2006, the number of murders committed with a rifle was 438, while the number of murders committed with hammers and clubs was 618.
…For example, in 2011, there was 323 murders committed with a rifle but 496 murders committed with hammers and clubs.

  • LoriGirl

Bloomberg has a major Napoleon complex.

  • Jack Deth

Bloomberg is as insanely dumb as a rucksack full of rocks!

    Memo to Bloomberg:

Disarming law abiding citizens will only create murdered citizens at the hands of criminals. To whom the law means NOTHING!

Bloomberg had better have a LOT of money stashed away if he’s thinking about buying another election.

  • spanky

I’m sure they were all shit by law abiding gun owners, your an asshole bloomberg

    • GaryTheBrave

      I’m sure you meant “shot.”

  • louisiana_mom

If gun control laws worked, then these police officers would not have been shot!

    • Jazzee

were the cops shot by law abiding gun owners?????????????????????????????????

  • rogueco

I seem to remember back in August, near the Empire State Building, that NYC Policemen shot 9 bystanders while trying to take down a perp. I don’t recall him demanding action then.

  • stuckinIL4now

So, the case has been cracked and Gloomturd knows for a fact that those shootings were committed by registered gun owners with legally purchased guns? I highly doubt that. Produce the evidence, you poor excuse for a mayor, before you go blaming innocent people and criticizing Congress for not taking action that would have no helpful effect on this. Shouldn’t cooler heads prevail amongst elected officials so that correct information is put out to the public?

Funny how in Chicago where gun sales are prohibited, guns are banned from the streets and the process to register legally purchased guns is strict, 2,600+ shootings occurred in 2012–you really think criminals and punks who go on spur-of-the-moment shootings are dealing with all that to obtain their weapons?

    • ceyanne

Actually, and not surprisingly, one of the gun was reported stolen in NC. The other one was purchased in PA. Was shocked that the NYT article actually stated that.

  • wayne reses

I blame the Jews. I mean, don’t they get blamed for everything already? Wayne Reses (Jew)

  • George Washington Mclintock

Sorry, Kim Jong Bloomberg. New York’s scum isn’t impressed with your money, office, and OBVIOUSLY superior ideas on gun control. Please, your worship, tell us how you can legislate respect for authority from the criminal element.

  • syvyn11

Remember General Dinkins? He was a gun grabber. And NYC murder rate was in the thousand range. Maybe Bloomberg wants a return to that.

  • $23629333

How does soda-swiping Bloomberg suggest that the federal government – or anyone – take the guns away from the good folks who shot those police officers? Imagine the howl there’d be if a concerted effort were made to find and confiscate guns owned illegally by gangbangers.

  • TheOriginalDonald

    ….ELIMINATE ALL SODAS OVER 16 OZ. !!!!!!!!!!!

  • TomJB

If this moron doesn’t know that the security of the people of NYC are the primary responsibility of the chief executive of the city, he needs to step down.

  • Steve_J

Is Bloomberg saying he is unable to manage NYC and is incapable of protecting the law abiding residents of that city and requires the Federal Government to do his job for him?

  • MrApple

This man wishes to take away my ability to defend myself all while he has the luxury and privilege to have state provided around the clock protection. He should try slumming it as a common person and see if his stance on gun control changes.

  • Marcy Cook

Maybe Bloomberg’s “good guys” need to learn how to shoot better?

  • GaryTheBrave

These unfortunate LEO’s likely have so many Rules of Engagement that prevent them from shooting they were at a disadvantage in defending themselves.

  • NachoCheese (D)

Yeah, because banning Cocaine has been so successful, why not try it with firearms. What could possibly go wrong?

    Stupid liberals

  • SpideyFan

we should be like mexico, one of the safest countries in the americas. it has very strict gun laws.

  • Hello Jerry (D)

    Fuck Doomberg.

  • Thomas Collins

“Mayor: Washington is letting the bad guys shoot our police officers…”

    Democrats are absolutely delusional.

  • American.Vet

Lets see if I understand this; taking away the firearms of legal owners across the nation and disarming them will stop the criminals with illegal guns from shooting ARMED Police Officers in a city that already bans guns?? What could possibly go wrong…..

  • Tim Pearce

Of course. If he admitted his laws deliberately make NYC less safe, so that people will want someone who “does something” during the next election cycle, and re-elect him, it might make him look bad. Heaven forbid.
