Richard Mourdock has lost his Senate race in Indiana and is being subjected to the same sort of abuse as Linda McMahon in Connecticut.

Some are wishing personal injury:

Others are just resorting to obscenity:

There are no words.

You left out Roger Ebert who completely misquoted Mourdock by saying his statement was that “rape is an act of God”. But hey, no diff, right? Close enough?

The liberal gloating is ugly. But not as ugly as the state of the country after 4 more years of this administration…

We’re doing fine. many people are understandably emotional about the subject of rape. Mourdoch chose his words very poorly. You guys did great. it was close. Make sure to get guys like Mourdoch out. Social issues were your Achilles heel this season. change that and you’ll be fine.

I live in Indiana. Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together knows he didn’t mean what he said as it came across. Sadly the above tweets are what seems to be overtaking our country. I’m sad…..soooooo sad :'( But where is the anger for Benghazi, the debt, the deficit, no budget for 4 years, the college transcripts and all the Obama mystery. I just.don’t.understand.it.at.all!!!!!

That’s because it seems most of the people on this site live in a little bubble of ignorance…

All of those messages were lost because you chose to run candidates who are far too extreme in their opinions of social issues. If you had truly focused on the economy instead of things like “culture wars” and “protecting marriage” and “stopping immigrants” and “welfare queens” you might have had a chance. Until you stop trying to make yourself into martyrs, you won’t win. Young people have now voted for democrats for President three times. It’s going to take something different from republicans in order to sway them. Not more demonizing and divisiveness and obstruction.

Joy Behar asked what is it with republican men and rape lately? learn from this especially since i hear republican/conservative women are the larger recipient of rape jokes/comments.
