Stacey Abrams has her heart set on being the Governor of Georgia. Sorry … she has her heart set on being re-elected as the Governor of Georgia. We always forget that the 2018 election was stolen from her. You’d think we’d’ve learned by now that when Democrats don’t win, it’s because the GOP stole the election.
Anyway, Stacey Abrams has done an impressive job of really raising the national profile of the Georgia gubernatorial race, thanks to her frequent MSM appearances and voting rights crusading. And for a while, it seemed to be working in her favor. She’s a legend in her own mind, and that went a long way for her.
But these days, even with all her stunning bravery, her star is starting to look a bit more tarnished.

Cook Political Report moves the Georgia governor's race into "Lean Republican" status. Abrams viewed as the underdog against Gov. Kemp in the rematch.https://t.co/HFaKzLwtti

Even with all the money she’s raked in from her Hollywood admirers?

"As Axios reported, the majority of Kemp’s money has come from in-state donors ($26.2 million), while $10.2 million of Abrams’s haul has come from California, compared to just $7 million from Georgians."

Boy, you hate to see it.
This is despite the former Republican President basically rooting for Abrams, and Abrams getting a ridiculous amount of free publicity and out-of-state funding. Voters tend to reward competent governing. https://t.co/o8KWVUxyQL

I don't know why people out of Georgia are going eyes wide on this.
Georgians see Georgia & Georgians see states that ain't Georgia.
Georgians know Georgia is doing a hell of a lot better than states that ain't Georgia. https://t.co/hRbp8SzKke

You mean … most Georgians don’t agree with Stacey Abrams that Georgia is “the worst state in the country to live”? Go figure.

Oh yeah … some voters may have also taken issue with that. Her getting the MLB All-Star Game moved out of Georgia may have hurt her as well.
Surprising since Stacey Abrams has the incumbency advantage. https://t.co/uW1nFVi9U7

Does this mean she won't be reelected? https://t.co/LvSHLSjc1Z

Incumbency ain’t what it used to be. https://t.co/ClH0fiDo4R

It sure ain’t.
I’m so sorry this is happening to Governor Stacey Abrams https://t.co/ROAcy2oVME

Still, there’s a silver lining for Abrams when she loses her race (again):
Even if Abrams loses the governor's race, it'll be ok because she'll still be president of Earth. https://t.co/jb19qvU4MF

So it won’t have been a total loss.
