As Twitchy’s told you, the MSM’s narrative surrounding Puerto Rico is crumbling like nobody’s business. The Hill, for example, has decided that dishonesty is the best policy when it comes to reporting what’s actually going on. But they were beaten to the punch by Politico, who published this piece on October 1:
Analysis: Puerto Rico’s tragedy was years in the making https://t.co/TPYDCf3JkA via @POLITICOMag pic.twitter.com/an3CS8XIiU

What a coincidence! So was the collapse of Politico’s reputation! Take a look at these corrections to the original post:
Holy cow, the correction to this Politico Mag piece https://t.co/a73FoTFE0j pic.twitter.com/9OpEaC65eQ

Those darn Koch brothers! They probably used mind control to trick Politico into blaming them for Puerto Rico’s problems.
Do reporters who dislike them assume the Kochs were involved in all bad things & automatically write that they're to blame?

Sure seems that way, doesn’t it?
Would have been shorter to tell us what they got correct.

Right? Or:
Shorter correction: An earlier version of this article was a complete lie.

Short and sweet.
Wow. I can envision this being narrated via the type of fast talking voice overs used to disclose the nasty side effects in pharma ads

This is the most amazing correction. Makes you wonder why this piece wasn't retracted. No standards, @politico? https://t.co/j2Px5rCkcc pic.twitter.com/bhbeHfWuuE

But except for the stuff we totally fabricated, the rest of the story is accurate. Trust us.

When the corrections are longer than the article, it must be #ModernJournalism https://t.co/A65EegdOR7

How are the corrections becoming longer than the "reports"

They’re long overdue.

Reason #1489 why journalism is failing the public.
