Wait, MSNBC has standards? Network bans guest who flung racist poo at Bobby Jindal [video]

In case you missed it, MSNBC’s Alex Wagner sat down with CAIR’s Arsalan Iftikhar, aka “The Muslim Guy,” on her show yesterday to discuss some recent remarks by Bobby Jindal.

That’s when this happened:

Let’s go to the videotape:

What. The. Hell.

Making it even more horrifying was that Wagner didn’t seem to all that bothered by Iftikhar’s despicable comments.

Fortunately, someone at MSNBC was apparently disturbed enough to actually do something about it:

From Mediaite:

“We found this guest’s comments offensive and unacceptable and we don’t plan on inviting him back,” an MSNBC spokesperson told Mediaite.

Hard to believe we’re saying this, but good on MSNBC.

Of course, Al Sharpton still has his own show, so …

Well anyway, for the record:

“It’s embarrassing for MSNBC to give voice to such shallow foolishness. Much like Michael Moore denigrating our military servicemen, these comments deserve no comment,” Jindal told the Examiner on Tuesday.
