President Trump barely got the words “John Thune is here” out of his mouth Wednesday night at the GOP midterm convention in Dallas before the crowd let Senate Majority Leader John Thune have it.
The boos were loud, immediate, and unmistakable.
And much DESERVED.

Even Trump had to jump in and try to stop the bleeding.
The moment captured months of MAGA frustration with Thune’s leadership in the Senate. The base is tired of watching the SAVE America Act and other Trump priorities sit in legislative limbo while Thune refuses to nuke the filibuster. Republicans hold the majority, yet the Senate still can’t deliver the voter ID and citizenship verification bill the president has been demanding. The crowd made it clear they know exactly who they blame.
House Speaker Mike Johnson got the hero treatment.

To be fair, Trump did try to do some repair work for Thune, but Americans just aren't having it. Many Republicans simply do not understand why we have a majority and yet still struggle to get things done that we elected Trump to do. We also see Thune as a barrier ...
