I first became aware of 'The Villages' community a couple of years ago when my husband stumbled across a video one of the locals had made on YouTube to prove they weren't all just crazy sex maniacs. There was this happy older woman, riding around on her hot pick Mercedes go kart talking about the houses, and how they had their own grocery stores and Starbucks ... it wasn't creepy at all. And not even one swinger in sight.
I don't think. Heck, even though I'm not old enough to live in the community, I definitely took a look at the houses, especially since you know, they're in Florida and DeSantis rules. Truth be told, I really just wanted my own hot pink Mercedes go-kart.
Well, that and the community is overwhelmingly conservative. Which is probably why the Democrats are so desperate to pretend they're making leeway there.
Take this sad little Democrat Maxwell Frost for example, he thinks having a couple of hundred people at an even for Kamala is a big deal in The Villages.
