WHOA: Alyssa Milano refusing to support Women's March with Sarsour and Mallory in leadership has MIXED reactions

Alyssa Milano has claimed she will no longer speak at the Women’s March as long as Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory are members of their leadership. Both Sarsour and Mallory have refused to condemn anti-Semite, Louis Farrakhan.

From the Free Beacon:

Alyssa Milano said in a recent interview that she does not intend to support the Women’s March so long as it defends “bigotry or anti-Semitism.”

In an interview with The Advocate, a gay community magazine, Milano condemned Women’s March organizers Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory for supporting Louis Farrakhan. The Nation of Islam leader has routinely made misogynistic, homophobic, and anti-Semitic comments. “Any time that there is any bigotry or anti-Semitism in that respect, it needs to be called out and addressed. I’m disappointed in the leadership of the Women’s March that they haven’t done it adequately,” Milano said.

Some folks in social media were very pleased with Milano’s decision:

While others seemed to think it was too little too late since the actress all but empowered this movement from the get-go:

This editor sees both sides here. Should we give Alyssa credit where it’s due? Sure. But should she have spoken out months ago against Sarsour and Mallory for refusing to condemn Farrakhan? Yes.

It’s gonna get interesting, folks.
