As Twitchy readers know, Laurence Tribe wrote a really stupid and awful tweet about white supremacists and pro-life.
In case you missed it:
White Supremacists oppose abortion because they fear it’ll reduce the number of white infants and thus contribute to what they fear as non-white “replacement.” Never underestimate the way these issues and agendas are linked. This turns “intersectionality” on its head.

Yeah, it’s crap.
In fact, a giant pile of flaming garbage could walk by Larry’s tweet, look at it and say, ‘Wow, now THAT is garbage.’
And as you’d expect, pro-life folks were not pleased with Larry’s dumba*s tweet BUT instead of admitting that what he wrote was awful he all but doubled-down and blamed readers for misinterpreting him. Yes, he is unbearable, we know.
Some have misread this to say that all those who oppose abortion are White Supremacists! Learn to read, folks! I neither said nor implied nor believe any such thing. Some X are Y doesn’t translate to all Y are X. Duh. ? https://t.co/HIsY9TyDxF

It’s not his fault that people are too dumb to read his mind.
Oh, and the emoji totally makes the tweet. *eye roll*
Here, let us help you fix this, Larry.
‘Even though I am a smug hack I realize that my tweet may have been taken badly and I apologize for writing it. To show how sincere my apology truly is I will be deleting my account. Love, Larry’
Hey, we can dream.
Nice spin dolt

Also, white supremacists support abortion.

Forget that his tweet was stupid, it was absolutely wrong as well.
Double down with your ridiculous tweet from yesterday. Would have been better to just let it go.

Like the lawyer you are, you just wanted to draw a line for the jury/audience which connected opposition to abortion with white supremacy. Of course, you shaded your comment so that you could do this indignant dance now, claiming those that followed where you lead got it wrong.

Your first sentence is what's wrong Larry. WS do not oppose abortions, they promote abortion.

Perfect! The clumsy backpedal. Very on brand for Larry. ?
— DG (@7pints) August 12, 2019
Why use the phrase "never underestimate the way these issues and agendas are linked," then? The only issues/agendas you raised were white supremacists and anti-abortion advocacy. You absolutely implied it.

As Larry himself said, ‘Duh.’ He knew exactly what he was doing when he wrote that repugnant tweet.
