CNN spent years treating White House access like a divine right, and then Jake Tapper was on Sunday morning TV asking- no, wait- BEGGING Ambassador Mike Waltz to please mention to President Trump that they would really, really like their Air Force One seat back.

Pretty please.

It looks to us as if Tapper may have gotten down on his knees and begged if he could, which makes us here at Twitchy almost ... joyful.

Yeah, we're petty that way.

After all the lectures about norms, democracy, and the sacred press pool, this is the part where they suddenly discovered the magic words. Waltz did not exactly burst into tears and start handing out boarding passes, although to be honest, we're not sure how he kept from hee-hawing and going full, 'KNEEL BEFORE ZOD' right there and then.
