AP News Fact-Nuked FROM ORBIT for Leaving KEY Point Out in Their Reporting on Black Woman Hanged

The Associated Press still cannot resist turning a Jackson homicide into a morality play about the Jim Crow South.

Leave it to the mainstream media to exploit a horrific situation to push an ugly agenda that Democrats need to keep alive in an election year.

Tragically, a 29-year-old black mother was found hanging from a tree in August, and rather than lead with the fact that police later charged a 51-year-old Black man who knew her with murder, the wire service reached for the lynching template.

Because of course it did.

And the AP is really pushing it:

The death was ruled a homicide. An arrest followed. The suspect is not a mystery Klansman from 1935. That detail apparently arrived too late for the preferred narrative.

Luckily, there is a Community Note on their post:

Jackson police arrested 51-year-old Jarques Ratliff, a Black man with an association to Tasia Fortune, for her murder on Sept. 11 after the death was ruled a homicide.
