Wrong Talking Points, Spartacus: Sen. Cory Booker Calls Abdul El-Sayed a 'Fringe' Figure

Over the past few weeks, the memo has clearly gone out among Democrats ahead of the midterms. They are trying to pretend that none of them have ever even heard of Hasan Piker, even though he's been invited to speak at their campaign events, many of them have been pictured embracing and laughing with him, and they have craved his support over the past couple of years.

But now that Piker and his abhorrent views — such as saying that America deserved 9/11 and is worse than al Qaeda — are being seen by more and more voters, they're all pretending that he's just a "fringe figure" and not what he truly is: the de facto spokesman for the Democrat Party. 

Yesterday, on the Sunday shows, Democrat after Democrat repeated this phrase, including Gov. JB Pritzker and Sen. Cory Booker. 

Except Spartacus isn't exactly the brightest bulb in the box, so he got his talking points mixed up. Kristen Welker asked him specifically about socialism and Michigan Democrat nominee Abdul El-Sayed. Here's how Booker responded. Watch:

... Abdul El-Sayed, the candidate there... Do you think Democrats are drawing a firm enough line between themselves and socialism?" 

Cory Booker: "This is really what the Republicans want to do, focus on a few fringe people..."

LOL. 

We actually agree with Booker's accidental admission here. El-Sayed IS a fringe extremist. The only problem is that fringe extremists like him and Piker are now the mainstream in the Democrat Party.

That wasn't just a Freudian slip. It was a Freudian oil slick, covered with banana peels.  

Of course, El-Sayed says he's a capitalist. Because he counts on media hacks like Welker to prop up that lie and never question it. 

But saying it doesn't make it so. 

After all, Rep. Tim "Sarah" McBride says that he's a woman.

If Republican nominee Mike Rogers doesn't have a campaign ad with this revealing gaffe by Booker out before the end of the day today, he needs to fire his campaign staff. 

Isn't it just like a Democrat to beg voters not to pay attention to what their nominees actually believe?

It says it ALL. 

It's the only time a leftist will ever tell the truth — when he doesn't mean to. 

Kamala Harris is going to a campaign event with the diminutive El-Sayed this week. 

Someone should probably warn her that he's a "fringe figure." 

Well, in fairness, they're all fringe extremists, too. 

The only problem, of course, is that Welker is a Democrat activist, not a journalist. And she's not much smarter than Booker. 

She should have immediately interrupted him and asked him if he truly just called the Democrat nominee for Senate in Michigan a "fringe figure."

But that would have embarrassed Booker even more than he embarrassed himself, so she would never do that. Interruptions are only for Republicans. 

That's OK, though. We all got to see Booker's Freudian faceplant.

Hopefully, every Michigan voter saw it as well.
