Tinseltown Talarico: The Rotten ‘Grass Roots’ of Texas Dem’s Senate Campaign Stretch to Hollywood

Democrat James Talarico says he's running for U.S. Senator for the people of Texas, but that’s a lie. Based on an upcoming political event and the money flowing into his campaign coffers, he’s running as the Golden State’s Senator, not the Lone Star State’s.

For all of Talarico’s ‘for the people’ talk, the reality is those ‘people’ live in California. (WATCH)

All the communists' democrats claim this, but most of their major campaign funds are from California's donor networks. Amy Acton is the same. They are all getting funds from California. I read about the Brentwood Event; it is on September 10, 2026. Talarico is scheduled to headline a high-dollar fundraiser in Brentwood, California. The event is hosted by television showrunners Shonda Rhimes, Damon Lindelof (Lost co-creator), and Heidi Lindelof. Tickets for the fundraiser range from $1,000 to $27,000, with proceeds split evenly with Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff.

Shonda Rhimes is responsible for shows like 'Gray’s Anatomy' and 'Bridgerton'; Damon Lindelof is behind HBO’s 'Lanterns'.

Posters wonder why Democrats look to the West Coast for money instead of their home turf.

Why would two out-of-state prospective Democratic senators go to California for money for their campaign? Could it be that the people of their home States don't want them to win? That the people of their states don't support their message? Imagine what would happen if the Electoral College is eliminated. Only the most populous states' votes would matter.

Good luck getting Democrats to sign up for that!

Commenters say if Talarico’s candidacy is an example of ‘grass roots,’ then those ‘roots’ stretch all the way to California.

We love a good Styx reference. But don't be fooled by the radio, the TV, or the magazines; Tinseltown Talarico is someone else’s fantasy, not Texans’.
