DataRepublican just dropped a thread that should make every VoteVets.org seem a whole lot less noble.
Granted, with the way they attack the president and everyone on the Right, we already knew a lot of this but still ... to see it in black and white? Woof.
And oh yeah, the tie-in to Alexander Vindman is a hoot as well.
Take a look.
🧵THREAD - VoteVets[.]org, Vet Voice Foundation, "Former" Chairman
— DataRepublican (small r) (@DataRepublican) September 3, 2026
According to Legal Eagle, Jon Soltz deployed last year. That's 2025. And VoteVets actively called for the firing of Pete Hegseth then.
Jon Soltz, despite stepping down as chair in June 2024, is still listed on… pic.twitter.com/nPUbDAeztV
Post continues:
... the organization’s 2025 filing (issued May 1, 2026) as “Former Chair/Director,” working 30 hours per week and receiving $437,000 in compensation.
Meanwhile, the current chair, Paul Eaton, is listed as working fewer hours and receiving only $43,000.
Hrm.
Furthermore, the Vet Voice Foundation also paid Soltz 181K in the same fiscal year where he made 384K. Same mailing address / contact as VoteVets. pic.twitter.com/ToAlJw9xGt

Sounds sus, y'all.
As a bonus, Vet Voice Foundation hires out to HERE RIGHT MATTERS for 220K, also hired by VoteVets for 512K...

According to the Florida filing, HERE RIGHT MATTERS is ran by none other than... Alex Vindman. lol. pic.twitter.com/AMbKE4Vdmr

See?
And of COURSE.
And Vindman / VoteVets is already the subject of FEC complaints. https://t.co/KXrNsHRb8h

Look at that. Vindman.
Gosh, we feel shocked.
Ok, not really.
So, a "former" chair of VoteVets, deployed in 2025, yet according to the 2025 filing was still working 30/hours a week and at a salary 10x greater than the actual chair of VoteVets.

VoteVets called for firing of Hegseth repeatedly throughout 2025. pic.twitter.com/zWhAe8ApJR
A Vindman organization called for Hegseth to be fired, repeatedly.
When you look at them for who they really are, it doesn't seem all that important that a whiny group of Democrats led by Alexander Vindman hates Hegseth.
In fact, it only makes Pete look better.
Oh, and of course, there's this little nugget:
The media for a week dogpiled and lied about SGEs doing their lawful duties. So did VoteVets, ironically enough. But they will not investigate active duty military who appear to be listed as still performing work hours for an org calling for removal of their own Secretary of War. pic.twitter.com/u6OZx9JiV8

It all goes back to the same anti-Trump weeble wobble.
