We just covered the week-long drama over President Donald Trump's executive order trying to secure elections and make sure that mail-in ballots are delivered by the Postal Service only to those found eligible to vote here. As of Friday evening, Trump had appealed a judge's ruling blocking implementation of his executive order.
As we reported, several governors, including California's Gavin Newsom and Pennsylvania's Josh Shapiro, have sued to keep the executive order from being implemented. The case heads next to the First Circuit Court of Appeals, though it will almost certainly land in front of the Supreme Court again.
In any case, Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes has told Trump that his executive order tightening election security would go into effect over her dead body.

Moral be careful what you ask for!
As we mentioned in an earlier post, we have yet to hear a coherent argument against Trump's election integrity measures. The Postal Service delivers mail-in ballots to eligible voters only, and ballots are barcoded so they can be tracked. "Over my dead body."
