Devon Yacht Club in Amagansett had to scrap restaurant service after its H-2B kitchen staff were told to leave the country immediately over unresolved visa paperwork, with a mandatory 60-day stretch back home before anything can be renewed.

Members got the letter.

The dining room got dark.

And the club that traces itself to old-money industrial names is suddenly explaining why dinner depends on a petition somebody botched.

An ultra-exclusive Hamptons yacht club catering to the wealthy and well-connected was forced to suspend its members-only restaurant service for multiple days after several of its kitchen staff were booted from the country over visa issues, The Post has learned.
The swanky oceanfront Devon Yacht Club in Amagansett — which reportedly charges around $100,000 in initiation fees — canceled its Wednesday night dinner service after it lost its foreign cooks, according to a letter sent to members the same day.

Who knew hiring illegals was a bad idea? Oh, that's right, MOST SANE AMERICANS who don't exploit illegals to serve them at fancy restaurants. Ahem.
