In other words, they are not making the rule of law the central pillar of future plans.

It confounds the mind to wonder why any group would advocate dismantling the rule of law in a systemic manner. It is one thing to discuss how we as a society can go about reforming some of the law enforcement operational mechanisms we have, such as policing or immigration enforcement. Some of those are ongoing discussions now. But to go against those agencies and all that they represent lock, stock, and barrel contravenes sound wisdom, sends the wrong message, and defies logic. It would make life worse for the American people.

We can have an immigration system that orders assimilation responsibly without opening up the border. We can have a penal system that corrects in a non-cruel and non-unusual manner without opening up prisons. We can work toward reinforcing the elements of common defense without shutting down the military. We can work toward better policing practices without shutting down the police. Criminals should not be allowed to threaten communities.
