In a shocking (SHOCKING, we say!) development that has apparently stunned the nation’s most humor-challenged scolds, Wisconsin GOP congressional hopeful Michael Alfonso—son-in-law of Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy and proud Trump-endorsed contender — got “caught” sending a grand total of five bucks via Venmo with the labels “The strippers” and “High supplies.”
No, really.
Democrats think they caught him doing something BIG TIME.
Yeah, they're not bright.
The outrage machine briefly whirred to life over these clearly unserious notes between friends, only for Alfonso and his wife to remind everyone that the Venmo memo field has never once been a solemn affidavit.

Cue the collective online eye-roll at the idea that a $5 gag could somehow disqualify a 26-year-old from Congress.
It’s wildly dishonest to leave out the part where the “strippers” were $5 because—brace yourself—they obviously weren’t actual strippers. You can write literally anything in a Venmo note. This is called a joke—something the humorless left is incapable of comprehending. https://t.co/izngNrruQu pic.twitter.com/CCvmUbkK06

If they're paying for strippers with $5 things may actually be worse for Gen Z than we thought.
Heh.
I have no idea if there is anything here. I do know that literally not one of my male friends has ever—ever—sent me a Venmo payment with a description that wasn't a joke. https://t.co/HJCNrGUDCE

Yet another example of someone doing a completely normal thing (using the memo line in a payment app as a place for jokes) and the Left being utterly clueless because they aren’t normal people who have normal interactions, they’re theater kids who perpetually “don’t get it” https://t.co/exFoBJZFi1

What they say is true. The Left can't meme. Or tell jokes.
