In my view, the disproportionate racial impact criticism of the vaccine mandate is not the strongest argument against it- but it is the criticism most likely to cause problems for the democratic party which has built itself as the party of social justice and racial equality.

I have no idea if vaccine mandate would bring everyone to same level, but if Black Americans are reluctant because of the Tuskegee Syphilis experiment (which seems dubious, but is the mainstream's favored theory) I'm not sure a mandate would resolve that, it might make it worse.

Nationwide the numbers are very different but still.
Of course this is all speculative because a child could create a passable counterfeit of a Covid19 vaccine card. If the mandate goes through, many people who don't want to get a Covid vaccine will simply get a counterfeit card, and then we'll really have no idea who's vaccinated.
