Today, during the Supreme Court hearing on boys in girl's sports, Ketanji Brown Jackson, mentioned a new class of people. My ears perked up as I gave birth to a person who possibly fits in this class.

I have to assume a 'cis-GINGER' girl is a girl born as a girl with red hair. This describes my daughter perfectly.
It's not always an easy class to exist within. People say things like she has no soul or if she was alive in Salem she would have been burned as a witch.
It's hard to get a tan (as a native Floridian, that one is toughest on her) and she requires more pain medication after surgery because redheads have a lower pain tolerance than the rest of the population. On the other hand, I can find her easily in large crowds and it makes her very unique.

I do understand the confusion, but that's not quite right. A blonde who dyes her hair red is a 'trans-ginger'. They are claiming to be a ginger, but they really are not a ginger. On the other hand, a CIS-ginger, is a ginger from birth, no dye.
